Nice big size but birds get caught in the netting
We needed this extra large netting to cover up a very wide fig tree that starlings were attacking. They were eating or destroying all the ripe fruit. The netting is a great size and more than covered this very wide tree (we needed 4 people to get it in place though.)It does the trick of keeping birds and squirrels away, but the holes are bigger than we thought they would be and though the birds couldn't get through the holes, they started getting caught in it. We had to cut parts of the net to free them. Luckily there are ties included which made it possible to "fix" the holes. The good news is that after about 4 days of this, the birds seem to have learned to stay away. We are hoping it will continue but we check every day. We couldn't find a net this big with significantly smaller holes so we really are hoping this will work in the long term because the size is perfect!

So much easier to use for netting blueberry patches.
The texture of the netting is soft and not scratchy. It doesn't snag as much as the other kids. We're on the second summer and it was easy to put up and take down and store. I put tape on the ends and middles with labels to make it easier to get over the fencing. We seem to have less birds caught inside the enclosure that with the other kind.

Very strong netting
This netting is by far yhe highest quality netting I have used over my 20 adult producing blueberry bushes. This year was the first year and unfortunately will be the last. The netting certainly protected the crop from local birds and critters but it also caught and tangled many of them in the process. Most of the trapped animals (alive and dead) had to be cut out of the netting leaving the netting ineffective for the following years.
