Q: Does it “beep” when you turn on the light in the middle of the night?

Mine doesn't beep with the light, only beeps when u pair it for the music

Q: Will it work with echo dot? If not will it work through a smart things hub and then alexa?

My experience is that is does not. I can connect my Echo Dot to a JBL speaker but will not connect to the BT fan. Range is not the issue.

Q: Our contractor lost the paperwork to this now we can’t figure out how to connect it. Can someone help?

In your other Bluetooth device it should show up as Tekhome BR100 or something like that. As long as the fan is switched on and powered correctly, you should be able to connect to it quickly in a close vicinity
