A fantastic reference book. The 4 volumes that make up this series are unquestionably the most comprehensive books on the subject. I only hope that Mr. Silvestri continues to publish work in this field. I would love to see a similar 4 volume work on the Heer.

I hesitated in buying this series of books for a considerable time, my hobby is military modelling and my need for accurate references of German uniforms has increased as time has gone on. I took the plunge with L. Silvestri's 2 part camouflage uniforms of the SS, I was that impressed by them I bought these two books which provide essential references.The quality of these books isbrilliant,they are large heavy volumes the binding is good quality as is the paper, the content is primarily colour photographs of Mr Silvestri's collection detailing the external and internal details of each type of uniform andthese a further supported by period black and white photographs showing the uniforms in parade and combat situations.If you have an interest in SS Uniforms then these are the books for you I honestly believe them to be good value as everthing about them exudes quality and importantly for me accuracy.

Sicuramente il libro è un capolavoro.... Sarebbe stato bello però riceverlo il libro.La consegna inizialmente prevista per il 6 giugno è poi stata spostata all'11 giugno.Salvo poi non essere effettuata e senza fornire nuovi dettagli.Quindi per ora non si sa quando e se arriverà questo libro.PeccatoMi fa pensare e rivedere le mie idee di acquisto tramite amazon per il futuro
