A beautiful, affordable, Swiss watch
A well-made, automatic Swiss watch was on my bucket list. Until I found this one. I looked at other brands, some cost more, some less. But what sold me on this one was the Powermatic 80. Wrist movement powers this type of watch. And this mechanism will run for 80 hours after you take it off before it runs down. That's more than 3 days. Others typically last half that amount of time. I love that it needs no batteries to replace, or any down time for recharging. The only thing I didn't really want was the date function. The bracelet was way too big for my boney wrist so had to take it to a jeweler to size it. He remarked that it was a beautiful, high quality watch that should last a long time. Amazon made this watch even more affordable by offering monthly payments. It came in official Tissot packaging. If you're looking for an automatic Swiss watch, this one is worth your consideration.

keeps time
I wear it all the time and many times even wear it to bed, it has been keeping very good time, I think I had to reset it one time, not sure if it lost time or if I changed the time setting the calendar. It is fairly easy to read since the background is dark and the hands are light colored, I do wish they would have made the number marks white though. The hands will glow. I was able to shorten the band myself (has standard links) with a kit I have so I didn't have to take it to a jeweler. The last time I took a watch to have the band shortened they charged me $20 so the kit paid for itself. The clasp is good but could be better, I did have it open on me once, I bumped the back of the watch just right i guess?Overall I like the watch but there are some things that could be improved. It seems that it is hard to find watches that are easy to read any more, this one is OK but could be better.

Lo amo, es muy lindo, solo hizo falta acortar la correa un poco y quedó perfecto. Es silencioso, llamativo y muy cómodo, ni siquiera me doy cuenta cuando lo llevo puesto, hasta que requiero ver la hora, lo veo y es hermosos. Lo mejor es que es automático y hace falta solo darle cuerda para que siga funcionando. Elegante para toda ocasión. Muy recomendado.

I was sent a used watch, wrong color, too!
So disappointing! I ordered this as a gift. But even before I opened the box, I heard something rattling around in the box. Upon opening, it was obvious that the watch was a returned item, and probably even used. The original box was partly crushed inside, and the watch was moving freely in the package. New watches typically have a clear plastic film over the crystal, but this one did not. On closer inspection, I saw a lot of dust, tiny scratches on the case and band, minor smudges on the polished surfaces of the case and band. Over all, definitely not new, definitely unsuitable to give as a gift.Also, the description and product number is supposed to be for a blue mother of pearl dial. This one is a grey MOP. Not bad looking, but not what I ordered.Just a disappointment in general.

Not a powermatic 100
I love this watch. Never had an automatic before, and it took a while to realize that there are different powermatics. The face of the watch in the amazon add reads powematic 100. I just recently noticed, in looking back for some winding information, that my watch is a powermatic 80. So, while I do love the watch, it's not the one a paid for. That's not a good feeling. One star deduction for that...should probably be more.
