According to Spyder size chart it is 33" for regular, 32" for short, and 34" for long.

Not sure about medium. We purchased large and it fit a 36 nicely with some room. Hopefully that will help with your medium.

I ordered one size up but not because of the waist but because it was a little tight on the crotch area.
