This is the best I've tried.
Although not "Easier" to balance, this is a good product for those with a bit of patience. More than once I was tempted to toss it across the room while trying to balance it on the base. Once you get it there, it's great! Spins slowly. Very nice.

Getting it balanced is tough....
It took me a solid 20min to get mine set up. The instructions make it sound very easy, it is not. Otherwise, it's a great looking addition to my desk. I wish it was only white though. My has colored areas on it that you can see when I switch the lamp to just white color so it never looks like the moon.

Very happy with my moon lamp
I bought this moon lamp as a birthday present for my boyfriend and am very happy with it. When it arrived, I got it out and tested it, and we very pleased. The brightness/dimmable-ness is very nice, and the colors are pretty. It also only took me about a minute of trying to get it to levitate. My only qualm is that the 3d printing used to make the moon is not the best quality. The print lines are very obvious up close, but it does look pretty nice from a distance.

Lovely... I've now purchase 6 of these from this vendor
I have 6 of these, plus one (an Earth globe from another vendor). Just as a night light, they are expensive. As decorations around our large house, lovely. Recommended... Buy a battery back up for them and then they are also emergency beacons in case power goes out. At that point, including the safety factor of guide laps, they are very worth it. They could offer some more variety, like square and hex bases and globes like Earth and Mars and other planets. They DO REQUIRE some patience. Setting them up... Be seated, not standing. Clear and relax your mind and your body and your soul. Be at peace and be gentle, they will fight you all the way to their sweet spot. Then the magic happens and you gently let them settle into their sweet spot. Don't try for more than two minutes or so. If it doesn't happen within that time, the base can overheat. Unplug it and back away for an hour or so and come back when you are more relaxed. One took me a couple of days before I got it. It's not the globe, it's you.I'm thinking about a couple more (we have a large house).

Only one flaw
I am using this globe as an accent piece. I was able to set it up very easily in only about ten seconds on the very first try. I like the adjustments available through the remote as far as color temperature and brightness are concerned. The only flaw, as far as I am concerned, is the rapid speed of the rotation. It would be much more realistic if you could reduce the speed of the rotation. Other than that, I am very pleased with the purchase.
