There's nothing fancy here: just a raised platform with a good-sized fan in it. However, it looks good and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it works: It took my busy little Raspberry Pi from a sweltering 53° C down to 39° C in just a few minutes.The only mild concern is that the USB cable seems a bit thin and the 90° angle plug might not fit comfortably next to other cables. However, that was all easily managed in my case. The platform is raised higher than I expected and there is plenty of room for air to move. It does its job simply and well.

I was surprised how little it weigh but it’s super sturdy. Love the accents on it and the minimalistic aesthetics. The fan placement is genius. I was actually able to line it up with my Alienware M15 R4. I saw a difference in temps so the fans are doing their job. The fit meant with my laptop is perfect. The only con I could see is if your laptop doesn’t have a bottom rubber anti slip like my alienware does.Overall is perfect.

I have a Tablo Quad up against a wall to the outside in a condo. In Arizona, in the heat. The Tablo started having all kinds of buffering issues this past month, during the summer desert. Turns out, the disk drive was overheating. I placed this lifesaver under the Tablo, and have had no problems since then. It still sits on an outside wall (but indoors, of course), but has no more buffering problems. The bottom of the Tablo, which was really hot, is now comfortable to touch.This is a wonderful device if you have any small devices that are getting hot. Glad I purchased it!

My first impression when I opened the box and wanted to immediately start using this cooler was "what? I have to assemble it?" but that turned out to be good thing as it lets the user determine where to place the fans for optimal cooling. That's like going to be where your processor/gpu is located. Overall this is a solid product. Positioning and repositioning the fans is easy. There's only one reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Several other coolers I own of similar quality have a variable fan speed control so I can set the speed to provide ample cooling without running at maximum speed (and noise). This doesn't. Here are the pros/cons I could determine within the first few minutes of use:Pros:- Allows user to place the fans in the optimal position for their specific device- Comes with a dedicated USB cable (with piggybacked female adapter) that you can route out the sides or back- Seems sturdy especially given its so lightweightCons:- Fans are not quiet!- There is no variable fan speed control. They either run at full speed (plugged in) or off (unplugged)
