This thing is a great e bike for a 5-7 year old I would say. It does what it says for speed, 11 mph.y kid can pedal at up to 13 mph so he was a bit let down at the speed, however I had purchased a cheaper bike that did 15 mph, and it really did, but that one had broke within 30 minutes of riding. This bike stands up to my kids use. The slow speed is overcome by its power for going up hills and battery life. We haven’t killed it yet, but we did take it on one trip that was just over 8 miles round trip. I’ve also taken it up a steep mountain, only a 4.5 mile trip that time, but literally up a mountain. Have never killed the battery to date.Good purchase, just buy a kickstand to install. The axle threads on the back aren’t quite long enough for an easy kickstand install, but I customized a kickstand and made it work.

It gets used going up/down hill, over rocks, doing burn outs- my 4 year old is ALL BOY. Battery lasts about 2 hours, I believe the uphill kills it a little faster. He loves it! Light weight easy for him to move around himself

This is a great alternative to the much more expensive Stacyc. My son has been enjoying his for over a year now with zero issues.

Although my son loves rising this cool bike the battery life is very short. I considered buying a second battery but the battery alone was priced at $229! That's only a few bucks short of my ebike battery which gives me up to 40 miles.BTW in the beginning my son was complaining holding the throttle was hurting his wrist. I think eventually he figured out a good hand placement but I'm wondering if some sort of thumb switch may be a better option than twisting the handle backwards. Anyway, the boys have fun doing laps around the house with it.

Plenty good for my kids aged 4 and 6 - my 4yo is about to turn 5 - I think 4 is a bit too small age for this bike, but 5 and up are just fine. Has plenty of power. Battery will last a good 40-90 minutes outside with random riding around. It's a good bike!*** 3 month update: kids still love it and it’s still super fun. Still in great working condition. Battery is strong.

I was not that happy with the bike as it would cut off while riding and wanted to return it but I’d have to pay for shipping even if it was within the first couple of weeks after I got the bike. So I kept it.

Severely over priced!!
