MatalaBSTPII Biosteps II Pond Filter for Ponds up to 2,700 gallons with 6 Filter Pads (2 Blue, 2 Gray, 2 Green)

The pressure filter I was using for my pond wasn’t enough so I picked this up and was quickly impressed. The assembly was easy and within a few days my water was crystal clear. The pads are easy to remove and clean and the bottom outlet is perfect for draining the stink water. I wish I had purchased this sooner.

okay but not so happy! the idea is good but need to improve to an excellent pond filtering box, have problem with the inlet water splash into filters and since cover (top) doesn't have a gasket it drips. and it's easy to overflood since outlet is too small ...

This filter was shipped with what is apparently a non-standard bulkhead fitting for the outlet side of the filter box. It is not a standard fitting to allow connecting any available tubing or PVC fittings. I went to to 3 hardware stores and a specialty pond supply store to find the fittings to complete the outflow and was told that no available tubing or PVC parts would fit the existing connection (bulkhead outflow fitting). Still trying to figure out how to get this filter set up so I can use it, the return window has passed. The reps at the pond store told me that this was likely a metric fitting and not standard USA measurement.

I received this product fairly quickly, but discovered the lid to have been broken during transport. I contacted the seller who responded quickly and they sent me a new lid immediately. The filter works really well and their customer service is amazing!

This Matala for my pond medium size with 10 koi . My pond now Cristal clear , every one enjoy these handsome koi.I love it
