Very heavy duty floor jack; work as a spreader, too!
I purchased two floor jacks to perform two tasks: as a clamp to install 820 s.f. of 3/4" thick tongue-and-groove hardwood flooring and as a spreader to install 210 s.f. of 5/8" thick tongue-and-groove siding planks onto a kitchen ceiling. These jacks worked great and are a good value. Be careful if you plan to use this clamp/spreader overhead! These are heavy tools - be sure that they are secure overhead to avoid injury should the material being clamped or spread let's go. I recommend these tools as a floor jack that can also be used as a spreader.

Well built
It’s well built the only thing I would recommend is placing a piece of felt on the bottom to protect flooring when installing.

Worked well
Used this to install 3/4 x 3-1/2 inch red oak flooring and it worked perfectly to get those last rows that the flooring nailer couldn't get to snugged up for the brad nailer. Where the ratchet wasn't clicking (between ratchet marks), I just held tension on the handle with one hand and did the nailing with the other. Made very quick work of those last rows.I was wondering if I'd need this when I started the flooring project, but when I got to the last rows I was relieved and happy I had it.

Works well for installing flooring
I got this to help with installing flooring in our bedroom and it works great to help pull the boards together. I'm so glad I had it because it certainly made the job easier to complete.

An awesome tool for those few times you need it
This works like any other floor jack I've seen and just as well to boot... while being cheaper.I'm glad to have this in my kit for the odd job where it's needed, it makes life a lot easier.
