It fits my ears!
I had been looking for inexpensive headsets to use with my cell phone while I drive (get a lot of work calls) as well as listen to musics/audio books/talks I have on my phone, but can't seem to find one that fits my ears well (small ears). The new style of earbuds/ear tips that sticks out and goes into the ear does not work for me at all despite the sizes! My options were to buy a headset that covers my ears, hang on them, or this type. I've used the Bluetooth type before but don't really like it.I first tried this one when I had my Blackberry many years ago, but can't find another one that fits well or similar to substitute this piece, so I bought it again to use with my Samsung Galaxy SII & Nexus 4.I was concerned if it was going to work, but it's cheap enough to try, and to my surprise, no problems at all! I have never broken one; the jack is sturdy, in my opinion, and has never broken (in the past and with this one). The ear piece is metal but covered with a rubber piece, so it's comfortable and stays most of the time on (my ears are small), but I prefer this way than to fit something INTO my ears that falls off and feels uncomfortable.Although I wanted it to have more features (like volume control), fitting my ears the way I prefer was more important; the on/off button works to answer/end calls, and the microphone is good. I hear people well and they tell me the same. The length of the wire is good enough to allow you to move around; there is a clip to hold it in place (it arrived broken, but when I contacted the seller, they quickly offered a partial refund). It is a well-made piece it if is OEM and this style.I bought it from MeagaDeal and they sent me a genuine one.

Cheap way to protect against possible dangers of radiation
My friend who works as an engineer at a cell phone company who tests radiation from cell phone use has warned me on potential dangers of holding your phone to your head. (I know there's no definitive proof the radiation is dangerous enough to warrant action, but better safe than sorry) I decided to purchase these again in response. The item is cheap and made cheaply. I've owned a couple of pairs before and they all broke. But I blame myself; they're obviously cheap and I should have been more careful with them.I recommend wired headsets to bluetooth headsets: no radiation, much cheaper, and uses less battery life from your phone.Everything works: the mic works fine and so does both ear pieces. If you're very careful, it'll probably work for years.Things to note:The jack that goes into the phone is easily broken. I always tape that area up with electrical tape. It prevents the area from snapping. The ear pieces are very prone to falling apart. If you don't have both of them in your ear, one of them can easily get caught in things like your desk. A quick jerk of your head when the piece is caught will shatter either/both ear pieces. I suggest using both pieces at once, keeping the unused piece tucked somewhere (perhaps into the neck hole of your shirt), or cutting one of the ear pieces off where the line meets the mic. Or you can just be super careful.I also suggest using the little foams for the ear pieces; it seems to help the longevity of the headset. The headset is super cheap and made in a very cheap way with cheap materials, but everything works well. The sound quality is fine: not worse than what comes out of a smartphone ( I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 ). The mic works very well, no one ever complains that they can't hear me. As far as I know, no one ever realizes I'm not holding the phone to my ear.If you plan on using them for music, they will sound awful.Overall, I suggest getting these if you usually hold your phone. They're a super cheap way to limit radiation exposure to your head and free up your hands.

Very reasonable product for the price
Arrived in mail in just 4 days. The packaging has been taken good care of, and the seller has showed professionalism along with some cute personal touch. The product is not really Blackberry original, but it apparently aims to look in every way like one. It works on my iPhone 4S. The click button on the wire works (can answer/hang up the phone call). Call quality is good, as the voice sounded natural and clear over the phone (Verizon). Along with the earphones there is a pair of foam pads that you can wrap the earpieces with, although it is not shown on the advertising picture.
