I used this product to do my makeup for our renfair pirate day and it came out AMAZING I had so many compliments it really made me feel like I did a great job. The stencil was easy to use and is flexible so I imagine my ease of use was aided by the fact I was using powder, not sure how it would hold up against a beauty blender or liquid. My husband helped me with placement so beginners I would definitely recommend tape or having someone there to keep the stencil still. I loved the fact it had different sizes so I could play around with some anatomical placement to make the scales larger where they might be on a fish in nature. Overall ver happy with the purchase

My daughter was a sea siren for Halloween and this was the perfect thing to help with completing the look. We just made small scales on her face, neck, and arms and it looked great! These stencils were easy to use, especially if you have an extra set of hands to hold it steady. I loved the different size options, and how easy they were to cut if needed. I was working on my own so I found by cutting some down in size, it was easier to hold and paint at the same time. These were flexible but sturdy. Definitely recommend!

It a bit thin but it works great for makeup I do cosplay and it helps with my characters scales, pretty easy to clean and flexible enough to bend and tie to arm for easier painting. Love it

Makes great scales and is perfect! Just make sure you use good quality eye shadow and press the stencil hard onto you face, then pat the powder on. 10/10

Worked really well for my mermaid. Definitely took some trial and error and we practiced with water based face paint a few times. Definitely have to be careful that the paint/makeup isn’t very watery. I wish the stencils were a little more flexible, but we made it work. Maybe more flexible would make less defined scales, so I don’t know. Lots of different scale size options. They wiped clean extremely easily with the face paint (it was by Blue Squid) we used.
