Great combination of motion detection and low light
These work great in our house to light the way in the middle of the night. The come on as you enter the room and don't blind you.

Great pair of night lights!
The two night lights worked great! There are compact and bright for a pitch black hallway. It does what the product description stated. Used them for a whole month and still going strong.

Only 2 worked of the 4
Like everyone else said they all don't work when you get them. They came in a pack of 4 and only 2 of the 4 worked. The 2 that do work are pretty good. But I wouldn't waste my money. I'd definitely look at another brand. I kept them because it isn't worth the hassle of returning them..

Bright enough, low power consumption motion and light sensor night LED light
It is a good night light in value 2-pack, it has BOTH light and motion sensor. i.e. if there is light, even there is motion, it won't turn on. If the ambient light is dark enough, when there is motion, it will turn on, and if there is no continuous motion and 90 seconds elapsed, it will turn off unless there is another motion in the range to trigger it to turn on again. It works well as expected, both the light and motion sensor work very well and sensitive. The light is bright enough.Note that one of my picture attached is intentionally "over-exposed" in the white balance to show the power consumption, or otherwise the wattage can't be read. The wattage consumption is so low that can even trigger my watt-meter, and find out on the spec on the back states it only consumes 0.5W, that's impressive for such low power consumption to give out that brightness. All is good and work as advertised, it ONLY takes out ONE outlet and won't block the other one no matter you put it up or down, it's NOT polarized in the plug. It's meeting and beyond my expectation, but I deduct 1 star because it misses the option to making it "always on", and/or different light intensity, because I actually find it is a little bit "too bright", especially if you wake up in the middle of the night when your body and eyes are already adjusted to the darkness, it gives you slightly "over" brightness. So, it will be perfect(5-star) if it can offer you an option or tiny switch where you can make it "always on"(disabling the motion sensor, since it's already consuming 0.5W only), and a simply switch where you can adjust the intensity of the light, like low-med-high. If there is an option to change the timeout of the last motion detected to turn off, that would even better.Nevertheless, even it does not have my suggestions, this value pack of night LED motion lights is still an excellent product, just to accept the way it is and no option to change any of its behavior/brightness.

Got these for my mother-in-law to help her when getting up in the night
To be clear I love my mother-in-law so no jokes here. She is over 90 and lives independently in a facility. She may sleep in a recliner and go to bed or be in bed and need to use the bathroom. Using the two pack: one picks up her moving from recliner toward bedroom and turns on so she can navigate her rollator into the bedroom where the second picks her entering the room and lights the path either to the bed or to the bathroom. If in bed the second one turns on when she moves to the edge and helps her find the rollator and navigate to bathroom or back to front room. She has not had a problem with the bedroom one sensing her movement in the bed when sleeping but that is a function of location of the light and bed. We had it in a different location and it was picking up her while sleeps and waking her up.We moved it to a location where the "view" was partially obstructed above a couple of feet (under a small table) and that seemed to make the change successful.**Disclosure: I received a sample product from the Amazon Vine program for an honest and unbiased review of the product.

Stylish, clean design, effective coverage area, white light, not too bright, ...and blind spots.
Night lights have been around for decades, they're useful because they provide a warm ambient glow to help light up your path in dark areas, or to provide comfort for those that do not appreciate total darkness. With LED (light emitting diodes) technology, lights are getting more and more bright, while still consuming less energy than your conventional incandescent (or filament) bulb. These night lights by Lights by Night plug directly into your wall socket or any power outlet. They're 2.125" x 2.125" square and 1" deep (1.625" with the outlet prongs) and the light emits the entire perimeter of the unit. The plug is not polarized (i.e. the prongs are the same size) so that the unit can be plugged into the socket in any direction. The prongs are strategically placed near one edge of the unit so that it will not impede on the other plug in you standard two socket wall outlet. The light is activated by a motion sensor. The front surface is slightly concaved and the motion sensor sits at its center. When it comes to motion sensors, four things come to my mind:1. The type of technology used.2. The angle of detection.3. The distance of detection.4. Sensitivity to light. While these don't disclose the type of technology, I'm inclined to assume it's infrared based on it's application. A passive infrared sensor detects body heat (infrared energy) by looking for changes in temperatures. When it senses a change in temperature, it activates, turning the light on. It's old tech that has been around for a very long time, so it's both affordable and reliable to ensure functionality while keeping manufacturing costs down. The angle of detection is a total of 120° so you're looking at 60° from center on either side. This means that if you approach from the side of the unit (along the wall where it's plugged in), it will not trigger until you get pretty close to it. Not necessarily a bad thing, but something to note when you're placing the unit. The distance of detection is advertised as 25 feet. Impressive sounding, but not necessarily a great feature depending on what you want. 25 feet at 120° will most likely mean that it will be triggered a lot, specially if you have a pet at home. The good news is, this light only turns on for 90 seconds at a time, then auto shuts off until the next detection. The last thing is sensitivity to light. I found that these are not very light sensitive. They activate even in overcast conditions. They do appear to contain a photo cell sensor to detect light as the unit will not activate in bright daylight conditions or with a room light turned on, but there is no ability to adjust the light sensitivity photo cell sensor.Overall, these night lights do a great job in my opinion. The light is powerful enough to to light up 15 feet in all directions! It's a gradient illumination, so it naturally fades with distance and the light emitted is not so intense (around 4000 Kelvin) that it would hurt unadjusted and sleepy eyes. The price point for this is slightly on the high side. Night lights range anywhere from $1 - $7 each and these are priced closer to the top of that scale. Grant it, there's a cost to getting UL certification, but I'd still like to see these somewhere closer to the middle of the scale ($10/2 or $16/4). These come in sets of two, and the only bad thing I experienced is that one of the two were defective right out of the box. The defect is the motion sensor and not the light as it did light up as soon as I plugged it in. But once it auto shut itself off after 15 seconds, I was not able to trigger it to come back on. These are sold and shipped by Amazon, and Amazon's replacement process is excellent. They get the replacement product out to you immediately while giving you a generous grace period to get the defective item back to them. OK, now back to business, what review is complete without critical feedback. Well, where I think this product falls short is the combination of the need to be plugged into an outlet, and it having only 120° detection angle. This inevitably will have blind spots where the light will not activate immediately for at least one room in most homes; and for this, I'm docking one star.Note: The non-functioning motion sensor in one of the units had no effect on my rating. I'm chalking this defective component up as an anomaly rather than a quality issue with the product itself. The fact that this defective unit did reach me tells me that they randomly check samples for performance and not every unit, so these things will happen. Hopefully it's the exception and not the norm.
