So glad we found this company! We bought a harness and raincoat for our 72 pound lab mix. Size large in this, and L/XL in the harness fit him perfectly. Jacket never needs adjusting like his previous raincoat. Great coverage and easy to get on/off.

This dog rain jacket works really well! It’s super cute in the hot pink color. It keeps our dog protected as it has the little mock turtleneck and the long back-end portion and covers really well. Really easy to get on and off. Highly recommend!

It was a very rainy summer over here and our dogs last raincoat really didn't keep him dry at all, so we needed an upgrade. This was the most well reviewed jacket we found online so we decided to try it out, and we've had plenty of rain to judge it. Suffice it to say, this is a pretty good rain coat for dogs. It does truly keep him dry, well at least the part of his body that is covered. The pros are that it's easy to put on, fairly easy to adjust, very lightweight, and seemingly rain proof. Not just water resistant, I'm talking keep the pooch dry during a monsoon. The cons are mostly that our dog doesn't love the elastic loops that go around his legs, but I admit they do a good job of keeping the jacket conformed to his body, and there is no coverage for the upper part of his neck or head. Granted, our dog might have a longer neck and head than other dogs, and hoods rarely stay on him, but the fact is that his neck and head do get wet and have no coverage. This is also a pricey jacket, easily the most expensive thing we've ever purchased for our dog, so hopefully it lasts a long time and remains water proof. Lastly, I wish there were more or better color combos available, but its not bad looking, just not my favorite either.

We recently purchased this for our new dog, we have a much older Ruffwear rain coat from about 8 years ago and that was pretty good but not near long enough, they have made many changes to the design and this one is great. While getting our pup comfortable with it, we left the leg straps off when it wasn't windy, but she comes in dry. Well, not her head and feet, but let's face it, she's a lab and could care less if she's wet. This is mostly for mom and dad so we don't have to spend as much time drying her before she can terrorize the house. This one is long enough to cover all the way down past her butt, water proof and keeps from blowing up in the wind. It's also really easy to adjust for her as she's still growing.

This coat is fairly thin and might not hold up to roughhousing but it’s is very well built and fits both of my Australian Shepherd’s perfectly. Some might consider it difficult to put on but after a few times it smoothed out. I bought a medium for my 65 pound male and a small forthe 45 pound female. I would definitely buy them again.

Love that it's long enough to cover my dog from neck to tail. Easy to get on and off. Does RUN A BIT LARGE.

It really fits perfectly. Some other companies ask for multiple dimensions of the dog and when you match all the measurements you still end up with ill-fitted jackets (I have one such jacket). This product only asks for one measurement and yet it fits in all dimensions. I was very relieved and happy when I put it on my dog for the first time. This company must really know dogs! I also appreciate the quality of the jacket- the thoughtful details, the lovely feel of the material, and the lightness of it that will help protect my dog without adding weight onto her back. Yes, it is a bit on the pricey side, but if it works for my dog, I don't mind paying. The cheap one that I had from a different company equals money thrown away. I just hope my dog will stay this size but if she outgrows it I know where to come back for her next size.

Although expensive, it does what it promises! Totally waterproof and comfortable to wear.My dog finally doesn’t dread to go out when it rains.

Bought the medium, great fit on my 30kg working Labrador with 61cm back measurement and 75cm girth. Really happy with the coverage over her hips and sides. Leg straps are soft elastic and long enough to easily get her legs through, better than other coats which were too short and she doesn’t like her back feet being picked up. Love the colour and fabric appears to be good quality like all Ruffwear products are. Very lightweight which is exactly what I was looking for as she doesn’t need warmth and hates heavy coats. It’s still possible to fit over a fleece if needed for exceptionally cold wet weather. Not cheap, but that’s the price of something well made that will last and so it’s job properly!
