Used these extensively for recent project....excellent results adn easy to use!
These compression connectors are excellent, NOT ONE issue during the entire project. Use the right tools and components and take your time to do it right. These connectors were used both inside and outside on RG6 coax and are absolutely critical to achieving excellent signal strength with minimal or no noise.Note: Using Quad wire, you need to peel back the first set of wire and shielding for compression fitting to work correctly. No issue with compression fitting or tool, part of the process working with RG6 Quad coax. This does NOT degrade the cable or shielding as this is all contained within the compression fitting once installed. Please go to youtube.com for more information and learn from expert videos.I converted my entire home system from cable/satellite to OTH antenna system. Excellent results with ALL connectors and splitters that were rated at least 2GHz if not 3GHz. Yes, I did experiment with other connectors and splitters and found best results in my case, using what I recommend. By the way, splitters by Monster were noticeably better given signal strength on each TV without signal noise. Already had these onsite, no need to order.....but they are available on Amazon.Ran hundreds of feet of Quad RG6 coax and needed used the following to complete the install. Results were outstanding, with excellent HD picture quality in every room. We did not use the previous coax as quality and parts used were substandard resulting in poor signal transmission. Here is what I ordered from Amazon for rewiring my home, NOT a weekend project...LOL.1. Great Quality....takes a little work with Quad Shield RG6
I purchased these connectors along with 1000 ft of quad shielded RG6 (Steren 200-937BK 1000 feet RG6 Ul/cm Quadsld Coax Cable) for wiring a new house. The first thing I noticed when practicing on a piece of coax was that after prepping the coax and pushing it in I couldn't get it all the way in. The quad shield was too thick to properly push it to where it needed to go. I read another review that said the only way they could get it to work with the quad shield RG6 was to strip the jacket back about a half-inch and then push it through. I followed these instructions and it worked perfectly. The tools I used to do this were as follows:Cable stripper - Klein Tools VDV110061 Coax Cable Stripper --- this strips it down to two levels, one to the copper core (1/4-inch exposed) and to the inner shield on quad shield (1/4-inch exposed)- the only problem is that you need to strip it down another additional 1/4-inch down to the inner shield to put the connector onCompression tool - Klein Tools VDV211-048 Compression Crimper - Compact, Multi-Connector --- super easy to use and didn't cost too muchThings I would recommend:1. Watch videos on Youtube to see how prep your coax2. If using quad shield RG6 strip the black jacket and the outer layers of shield back about 1/2-inch3. Practice on some small pieces of coax4. Use a comprssion tool...they are not too expensive and will do a better job than pliers

Truly the professional connector
I did a lot of research before buying these. We recently did an addition on our house, and needed to add three more cable connections. We also decided to take the opportunity to change the layout of our existing lines, to try and give our home internet the best possible connection and speed. Given the number of splits we had, we decided to add an amplifier as well, and this all led to needing to add connectors to several coaxial lines. We chose quad RG6 for the cable, and the connectors purchased at our local big box store left a lot to be desired. We stripped the ends of the cable as directed by many youtube videos, and tried to crimp on the cheap connectors, which did not fit easily onto the quad cable. They barely stayed on, and I knew we needed to look for something better. Looking at the connectors used by our cable company, I knew that was what we wanted, and the reviews here led me to these compression connectors. So, the low down:~ These connectors DO fit the RG6 quad cable, but like every other connector out there that's supposed to fit, they do not go on easily. Out of seven connections I used these on, only one slipped on fairly easily. The rest required a bit of twisting and elbow grease to get all the way.~ The way these work: see the slightly indented portion of the black part? The compression tool squeezes the metal "end" over that indented part like a sleeve, compressing the piece around the wire and effectively creating a seal. This creates a neat, finished look that is both clean and functional.~ You definitely want a compression tool to use with these. I bought and used this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00068OVN8/ref=oh_details_o04_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1After using it, I would say that any compression tool rated to use for RG6 connectors would probably work. Do yourself a favor and find a youtube video showing you how to use it properly. These connectors are SO MUCH better than the crimp or even twist on style that it's night and day. The others barely formed a workable end piece, while these look and work exactly like those professionally installed by my cable company. It was worth every penny to buy these and the tool to put them on properly. My only wish would be for them to come in a slightly smaller amount for less money. 50 was a lot more than we needed, but I guess I'll always have them on hand if we ever need to help a friend with their coaxial wiring.

Easy to install.
I have installed about 10 of these so far, and I have not had any continuity issues or signal degredation. They look fine and tighten down perfectly.

Easy install and quality finish
The connectors worked very well with my crimper (monoprice one) and cable. Be sure to check your cable type to ensure these are meant for the thickness you have.
