Reflections - 50 Heavy Metal Years Of Music

despite my 4 star rating iam a little dissapointed with this yes it is indeed 50 years of great metal music but there are not enough tracks for my liking there is so much more that should and could have been added the title reflections 50 years of heavy metal music good enough title but priest who are only second to sabbath in develovping metal like the twin attack the leather and studs and of course robs high pith vocals really started to come into their own from the mid and late 1970s when punk was all the rage ,now all the tracks well nearly all are classic priest and metal but there could have been so much more only 1 track from one of the greatest metal albums ever i.e. painkiller and the awesome title track not included i from defenders of the faith no freewheel burning the sentinel jawbreaker ect.and why are most tracks live no sreaming for vengeance the song of the same album nothing from ram it down [same]nothing from the more reasant redeamers of souls 1 from firepower and again the tim owens period is ignored now when doing a compliation album by a band of priest huge magnitude you are never going please everyone as there is so much great material but here a lot of it is missing like the tracks i previously mentioned they should never be left off there has been other best of albums especially metal works from 1993 which did have a much more tracks and truly was worthy of greatest it too was a double album both vinyl and cd like here ,so in the end a little let down as i exspect so much from a band like priest the gatefold inlay pictures off the doulble vinyl are very good same as the booklet cd but this needed more tracks so why did i buy well as i am a priest fanatic i guess i am what some would call a completist for others i recommend you just buy the wholw dam back catalogue they are available or if you can get metal works [not sure if it is deleted ]then that would be a better option especially if you are just getting into metal and priest in particular

Fast delivery from Amazon and a fantastic pressing on red vinyl with no surface noise. But what is the track listing all about?! I can’t buy a JP Greatest Hits or full live album on vinyl so who chose these tracks and why? They don’t seem to make any sense or follow any order. Live tracks from different shows will always need a different mix and equalising and they just don’t fit together. It’s a bit like the bonus disc in a box set that makes you buy it. Nice to have but seems an opportunity missed.

erfrischende songs, leider ist die Aufnahme Qualität extrem schwankend und vorallem auf der 2. Scheibe echt bescheiden, klingt wie von den bootlegs übernommen.... schade aber so bin ich froh die große Box nicht bestellt zu haben, die es nur über dir Bandseite gibt, mit Import uk Zoll und Versand, dass man wirklich am Rad drehen würde..... schade hier fehlt es an Liebe, achja kein insert nichts, billige niederauflösende Bilder auf der Innenseite.... Keine ahnung was das soll, echt enttäuschend.

Excellent remastered songs, the live tracks are what makes it, couple of unreleased tracks, beyond the realms, victim of changes and the sinner are mind blowing, Halfords voice is unbelievable 🤟🤟

Hands down the definitive metal band of the last 50 years!!!, Great remastering even the live tracks sound like studio quality, priest never sounded so good.....ageless metal🤘
