I am a preacher and I use this to hold my iPad to view my notes. I was worried that this might be a little wobbly when I first got it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I move around a lot and have bumped it and it has never tipped. It is as sturdy as can be.I also love how secure it holds my iPad. It extends so the iPad can fit in and it closes around it tightly. I have learned the hard way that you do have the risk of pinching your fingers when getting your iPad out, but that's not worth taking a star away!If you want something sturdy this is your go to!

Previously purchased a competitor's stand and the head adjustment knob immediately broke off. This unit has a swivel head which is much better. Great adjustability all around, light weight, great value.

Our choir is going paperless and I bought this to hold my iPad for rehearsal. It assembles easily. I do need a friend’s help to spread the top where the tablet sits but otherwise I am good. Adjusting the height is easy and it feels stable to do the job. I wouldn’t mind if the travel pouch were a tad bigger but it works.

As a musician, this is much easier to use with an iPad than a music stand or mic stand adaptor. It's one dedicated unit that's easy to use.Pros: the jaws are deep enough for a case, and have a strong clamping force. The unit is lightweight but with a wide, stable base.Cons: the clamps in the telescoping stand feel soft when clamping, like they are just barely adequate. I'm sure they're fine, but not super robust. The jaw style should work with most iPad cases, but my UAG case is awkward to use. The stand came with a case, but the unit doesn't fit in it fully collapsed, it must be disassembled.Overall it's a good, inexpensive product that should get the job done.

My tablet fits into it with its protective case on. It is solid and very adjustable. Perfect for telehealth calls and for using my tablet when playing my guitar and singing. Wish I had gotten this a long time ago.

Love the fact it has a case which is excellent for caring it around from gig to gig. If the tripod was just a little heavier would be better, very top heavy with an iPad, makes it very easy to tip over. Other than that it works excellent.
