Lever-Style Ice Tray, 2 in 1 Steel Ice Making and Ice Cracker (stainless steel)

WE had ice trays similar to these when I was a kid in the early 60s. After wrestling with gawdawful silicone ice trays at a BnB (couldn't get any ice out despite twisting them into knots), I bit the bullet and bought two of these. MUCH better than anything plastic or, especially, silicone. There are aluminum versions but these are steel and much stronger. Occasionally have to run tap water on the bottom of the tray to get them out but not much of a bother compared to the "modern" plastic/silicone monstrosities.

The cubes this produces are quite stylish and easily fit in my water bottle. Without the separator, the water tends to slosh easily longitudinally when filling but the separator works as a vet effective baffle afterwards, preventing sloshing. Occasionally cubes will stick to the divider on the end slots.

A quality made ice tray. Not flimsy and has a nice weight to it. Reminds me of the ones made back in the 50's and 60's. Would buy again!
