Cheap piece of junk. Never got to grind a single thing with it, because just putting it together caused the very poorly fitting handle to "strip out" (it isn't threaded--it is just a triangle shaped slot that's too big for the part that fits into it). Sent it back and still haven't gotten a refund.

Very low quality cast iron. Flashing everywhere, had to file the base to get it to be stable on the work surface. No rubber pad included. The mill leaves a lot of iron filings in your work, so beware of that.Parts do not fit well together. The mold used to cast this mill is obviously worn out.

This must be a knock off mill! The silver paint came off on my food! And my peas (Pre-cooked) came out black with what I think it is rust from the grinder when the silver paint shed. I just used this mill once and it is not made well, my mill that I had for 20+ years finally wore down and I bought this in place and was all excited to finally use for the first time. What a horrible experience! I had to dump my peas. I will be seeking a refund.

I like it. But not for wheat grains. Anything smaller than corn just goes thru the ill- fitted top chute. I don't think it was made for this grinder mill. It doesn't fit well at all. Had to use duct-tape to hold it on. You have to run everything thru it twice. But other than that it's a great cheap hand mill. The clamp loosens too, watch for that.

I was so excited to receive this. I wish I had read the bad reviews first.This grinder is extremely heavy and none of the parts fit together well. I mean NONE. When I finished putting it together, the area where I put it together was covered with little bits of metal and paint.It is made of iron that is spray painted silver.The part that fastens it to the counter is too short to be able to fit over the edge of my normal counter.I bought it for grinding seeds. The grinding part is way way too coarse. I've now seen the pictures from people who tried to grind other foods and got rust.Do not buy. This is one of the worst products I've ever received from Amazon.
