Made Carrying Kayaks a Breeze
We used 3 straps to help transport 4 kayaks on a 8 hour (each way) road trip. My previous straps were wobbly and the kayaks moved a lot while we drove on the highway. These new straps stayed in place and the kayaks didn't budge at all. We have since used them to transport 2 kayaks on nearby lakes and they really make loading up and going a very fast and easy process. I used 2 under the hood (one on each side to secure 2 kayaks each. Then on the back we secured all four kayaks on one strap. As the way my hatchback closes I had to secure a bungee cord to the inside cargo holds and run the 3rd strap through the bungee cord. I then pulled it out of the way for the hatch to close, then secured the kayaks to it. I still highly recommend these straps even with this slight modification to work with the way my hatch closes.
