You had to change the formula ocean potion huh? Been using this brand for years with no issues whatsoever. New formula is great if you want to break out in a serious RASH and hives. Made a big mistake by using this product on my face and ears before testing it out. I looked like I'm a victim of a beating having my face swollen along with painful rash and hives. Rash is all over my face and ears. Also got a severe rash on my arms where I used ocean potion. I never get rashes so this is no coincidence. No rash on other parts of my body where i used another brand. Had to seek medical help for this mess. I'll be sending you my doctor bills. DO NOT BUY THIS. Reached out to ocean potion several times. Absolutely no response from them.

I would give this a negative 100 rating if I could, but you must give a star to write a review, This is not like the original Ocean Potion!!! Our family has used the yellow bottle of Ocean Potion for years and have always loved it. We just got back from a vacation in the Outer Banks and ALL of us got hives and a rash from using this new formula in the blue bottle!!! Even my husband who has never had an allergic reaction to anything is now covered in rash! We threw it in the trash!! Please do not buy and Ocean Potion please bring back your old formula!!!

It's not the same smell, consistency or protection level as the old formula. This lotion is much thicker than it used to be (in yellow plastic bottle) - I would called it a cream and not a lotion. Also the delicious smell of sunshine is gone. I also feel the level of protection is less than it used to be. I'll be sending the manufacturer my feedback directly in hopes that they may bring the old formula back. In the meantime I'll be looking at different brands of sunscreen.

I bought this sunscreen to replace the Ocean Potion Protect & Renew face sunscreen which I absolutely adored. I was so upset when it was discontinued, so I decided to try this instead.Pros: the size is great, so this should last a really long time since you don't need that much for your face. Texture is thick, but as long as you don't use too much it blends in No white cast, which is perfect as its really difficult to find a sunscreen that doesn't leave me looking grey Doesn't break me out or give me an allergic reactionCons: The scent. Now don't get me wrong, it's not horrible, but it smells citrusy with a hint of chemicals, which I suppose is the sunscreen, but its a bit too strong for me since I'm sensitive to certain scents. It leaves my oily face looking more oily than I'd like, but I suppose that's what blotting paper is for. It also feels a little heavier on the skin than the Protect & Renew.So overall, I think it's okay. I much prefer the old formula that didn't leave me looking oily, had no scent, and had a lighter consistencyUpdate:I decided to remove a further star since posting. The more I use it, the more nauseated the scent makes me. So now i'll use the rest of it on my body but i'll never repurchase. Thanks for discontinuing a perfectly good product Ocean Potion!

I used this product on my nose a couple of times. Then I applied it to my whole face and went out into the sun and had a horrible reaction. My whole face broke out in tiny bumps and hurt. It was been over a week since using it and I am still dealing with small bumps that are taking a long time to go away.
