We need to be very strong, and sometimes we need to show everyone that we are RARE TREASURES and VERY SPECIAL. This piece is made in sterling silver and includes 18" sterling silver chain. The pendant is oxidized - it has black borders, to emphasize the design. It is 3/4" long including bail. Oxidation: When sterling silver is dipped into special solution – black oxide film is formed, giving the metal a black/gray surface color. The entire piece is darkened, but then the raised parts are polished back to silver color, thereby leaving a nice contrast between the raised and lowered parts (crevices) of the piece of jewelry. Like other patinas, oxidized silver is just a surface treatment and does not change the internal color or properties of the metal. Variations: All of the products at my shop are cast in small batches (5-7 pieces) and individually hand finished. So they are one of a kind creations and not factory manufactured. As a result products will have variations from one piece to the next, caused by variations in the sterling silver as well as the hand crafting. The images, descriptions and measurements you will find in the description have been used to best portray the products I sell. The pieces you receive are at least 99% similar to the pictures. The slight differences might show in the color of oxidation of imperfections of the castings. I like to celebrate the unique nature of each and every single product I sell. Very Elegent.
My Daughter (the one who is writing this) Was completely on her toes waiting for this ED Necklace. Everyday I would ask is it hear yet? I have no clue why I Expected it to be bigger but I did, now looking back on the buyers image it is completely what it says to be. It is very small,but very delicate , it is good in some aspects because for those who don't want to really show off the fact they struggle with a ED . The chain is not to shirt but lands quite above my chest. The Two necklace's it shows above remind me of a ying yang; the white for recovered, &a the black for still struggling... I bought the white because I liked the way it was so simple but also so meaningful. If you are looking for a good Recovery necklace to remind you , you can do this, this is your holy ground. I will wear this for forever, and always!
