Must have for fans of the series
I got this set so that I could finish watching Korra and to introduce my fiancée to the series. Everything arrived in good shape.Avatar: The Last Airbender - I first watched the show roughly 10 years ago, shortly after it had finished airing. I remember being impressed at the care that was taken with the animation and character depth. Much of the comedy fell flat on me since it was clearly designed for young children to watch, but the writing was done well enough to keep older audiences entertained as well. The world of the Avatar is fantastically designed around four nations, which are divided based on their particular magical bending skills. "Benders" are people who are gifted in manipulating elements of earth, air, fire and water. The Avatar is the only one capable of using all 4 elements, and is responsible for keeping balance between each of the nations. Despite hosting an assortment of strange creatures like badgermoles, flying bison, and catgators, almost every other aspect of the show takes heavy inspiration from early real-world cultures. The various martial arts styles used in the show are thoughtfully animated into almost every action scene. 10 year later, the show still holds up well. The Legend of Korra - Korra continues about 70 years after The Last Airbender, where a new capital city has been developed at the center of the four bending nations. The industrious Republic City adds in a more 1920s-inspired vibe to the original setting. Where The Last Airbender introduced the playful, young Aang who inevitably has to face the hard responsibilities of being the Avatar, The Legend of Korra plays out more like a coming of age story about a headstrong young woman who naively tries to take the role of Avatar by the horns. The writing still has some quirky humor, but this time it's focused more on a young teen audience. Overall, Korra brings the same quality of character development and expands the story across later generations. I found the final chapter to be a little dull compared to the first few seasons. Regardless, it's still a good binge watch for a Sunday afternoon.

Absolutely fantastic!
I was a tiny bit skeptical at finding both of these together. They came $10 cheaper on average as opposed to purchasing both series separately. It felt too good to be true, but it proved an absolutely fantastic buy! Came in a nice little storage box on time and each series comes in its own Blu-Ray packaging. The video quality is crisp and clear, the condition upon arrival was extremely satisfactory and the audio is great! I was in middle school when The Last Airbender came out. I remember watching the premiere on tv with my mother and brothers. I was instantly hooked. Seeing this in high video and audio quality brought back so many memories. I was in high school when The Legend of Korra first premiered. The show stopped and was halted partway through and it took them a couple of years to get the ball rolling again. I’m glad they were eventually able to continue the series and then bring it to a proper end.I have fond memories of binging the first three seasons and all of the fourth and final one before watching the series finale years ago. I understand some people have had a bad experience buying this item, but I had literally zero problems and promised myself I would wait to review this product until I watched both series, beginning to end.Took me about a week and a half and that was with taking my time and thoroughly enjoying myself. Which I did! I highly recommend purchasing this if you’re a fan of both series. Especially if you want high quality at a great price!

One of the Best Shows+
While I have not watched Korra to completion yet, I primarily got the set for Avatar. I bought the Blu-Rays instead of digital as it was less expensive to do so (and I prefer physical format better anyway). The series stands up to multiple viewings and I couldn't recommend them enough. As for the physical product, the outside paper/cardboard? box holds two smaller plastic boxes (each series has its own). Inside the box, you can find the many disks for each series. The disks look clean, but the locking mechanism that holds the disks in place were difficult to release. I felt at times I was going to break the disk trying to get it out. With that being said, I doubt they will ever come out unintentionally which is a serious issue with other disk based products.

Very Happy w/ Purchase
So far I’m enjoy my purchase very much. It arrived in good shape, all disc look good, and the ones I’ve watched play well. My only criticism is the first disc of a season may have a preview or 2 you can’t skip. I would also like to address what another reviewer said stating there were only a couple episodes on a disc and you have to keep getting up, that’s false. There are 6-7 episodes on a disc. If a buyer is upset they have to get up every couple of hours or so then that sounds like more of a personal problem. I found this to be a great buy and I’m enjoying it.

If you have ANY kids in your life, you need this! Even if you don't have kids.
I love to read. I love epic stories with deep character development and plot twists. Lord of the Rings is one of my all time favorites. This is as good as LotR. With the huge benefit that the whole family can enjoy it. It has sparked so many life conversations with my kids about relationships and conflict. If you are an adult with ANY kids in your life, do yourself a favor and buy this set. We're watching it for the 3rd time. Uncle Iroh is my spirit animal!

Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the greatest series ever produced
Avatar: The Last Airbender is simply fantastic, and can be enjoyed by every age bracket. The Legend of Korra is not bad, but not as good. A:TLA deals with real-world tragedies and truths and presents them in an understandable way and presents characters that are so well written they could be real.

This Blu-ray Collection is a must buy if you are a big Avatar fan!
I love both Avatar The Last Airbender & The Legend of Korra I think they are the best animated shows today so when I saw the Blu-ray collection I just had to buy it when I got it in the mail both the disc's and the box cases were not damage when watching The Last Airbender I was glad they polished up all the episodes for a better HD experience there may be some scenes that might seem a bit blurry but they are not noticeable and easy to see past them other than that it was still a good & fun show to watch I really have nothing bad to say about The Legend of Korra it looks good and it's also a good & fun show to watch bottom line is that if you are a big fan of both shows then this Blu-ray collection is definitely worth buying!

Awesome Purchase
I love that I have both ATLA and TLOK in one box, the quality is impeccable. The only issue I have, which is a nitpick, is the odd selection menu in the Legend of Korra half; on the last 3 seasons it will show all episodes on disc 1 but only let you watch half and on disc 2 it will show all episodes but only let you watch the last half (full season is on both discs).
