Not as advertised
Moxi skates are awesome. This is a cheaper, knock-off assembly on a Moxi boot sold at the same price or higher than genuine Moxi skates (depending on color). As a skater, I could clearly see what they did. Besides the wrong color wheels, you will get cheaper, less effective bearings than advertised and sub-par hardware. This is a safety issue. These same skates are available from Moxi or Reidell for twenty dollars less. The free 2-day shipping is not worth the sub-par product. Needless to say, I returned them and purchased from Moxi.

Moxi Lolly, Beach Bunny or Sure-Grip Boardwalk.
I ordered these Beach Bunnies in periwinkle and LOVED them. They are super snug when you try them on, but follow the sizing on the Moxi site, don't listen to some of the reviews saying they bought their normal size. I am guessing those people did not put them on all the way, lace them up and ride around in their house. I am mostly an 8.5 and I got size 7. I thought my feet were being crushed when I put them on, but they loosened up in the front to back direction with a very thin sock (you should be able to be able to wiggle your toes when you bend your knees in true skate position.). However, after three days of this, they were just too tight around the ball of my foot and I know they won't stretch because they are vinyl :(. Sadly, I looked for other options.I then went with the Sure-Grip Boardwalk, size 7 in purple. They cost more, but these are suede so will stretch. I got them and they felt too big, but I got out a thick sock and tried to love them (I bought them through RollerSkateNation and they wanted $20 restocking fee AND to pay the shipping back!), I really tried to love them...but they just did not glide like the Beach Bunnys and the suede was so stiff and rubbed my ankles to death. They also hurt the back of my legs. So, too torture myself, I got a third option (but through Amazon this time, so I can send them back. Lesson learned).Next option, the super expensive Moxi Lollys. I got them in purple, size 7. First, they are beautiful and not counterfeit, like some say on these site. Someone said that they were supposed to have ABEC 7 bearings and these came with 5 so they were counterfeit. I looked them up on the Moxi site and they say ABEC 5, so I am not sure where they got that idea. Anyway, these are genuine, same box, same skates and come with the skate tool. So, how were they? Oh my god! They are amazing and fit perfectly! I immediately wore them out knowing that I am going to have to buy them and pay that stupid fee to send the Boardwalks back because, well, they really are amazing. The only thing I would mention is that the could have a little more cushioned insole, but I can add one.So, all and all, if you foot was a little more narrow, I would have been completely and utterly happy with the Beach Bunnies, but, since they weren't going to stretch, I had to opt for the more expensive Lolly, but I won't regret it!!!!

My Moxie Lolly’s
YASSS!!!! I got my Lolly’s and they exceeded my expectations. These skates are worth the cost. I also purchased the Sure Grip skates huge difference. Lolly’s are sized properly(i wear a 9 shoe and got the Lolly’s size 8) they fit great and don’t rub my legs in the back like the SureGrip. They ride so smooth outside. I feel like I’m floating. I’m so happy with my purchase. I wish i would have just got these skates first but you live and you learn. Save your money and invest in the Moxie’s you will not be disappointed. I so excited to be back skating after 17 years. I’m having so much fun with my daughters. Learning new tricks everyday..thanks to INDY JAMMA JONES.

I read reviews that suggested I order one size smaller than I wear in ladies shoes. I took their advice & sizing was perfect. I was so excited to receive them I laced them up, put them on and skated throughout my home on my hard wood floors. Wheels grip nicely. Then I took them out on the concrete. Unfortunately, there is no premium smooth concrete near, but they performed well enough. Can't wait to try them on the ring floor. Did I mention I'm 55 years old and haven't skated in years. I'm like a kid again.

Nice, BUT....
I like them, but am returning them. Why I like them:1. Genuine suede2. Flattering and well fitting shaped boot (order your dress shoe size - I wear a 9 Nike shoe, I wear an 8 Riedell boot and I wear a 8 to 8.5 dress shoe. Skates should fit snug but not too tight where they would hurt your toes.3.Wheels are OUTDOOR wheels - super soft, meant for asphalt/pavement. You would need harder wheels and/or additional bearings (sold separately) for the best experience rink skating.4. Super cute - if cute is a factor for you...5. Wheels seem to be good quality6. Riedell MAKES GREAT BOOTS this is a great skate/brand for regular skaters or those who want to get back on skates. Why I'm returning them:1. Box says they have ABEC5 bearings (not ABEC7 as listed - listing is wrong, Riedell only sells them with ABEC5 however...) see picture of box label.2. Came with PINK Moxi wheels - Riedell only sells these with the matching Seafoam wheels as pictured (I checked with a dealer) so someone switched them at some point and the nuts used are cheap ones you can't re-screw - I had the same problem with another pair of pre-assembled skates. But the pink/teal combo is a cute combination, I'm just not a fan of pink and because I'm not willing to take the wheels off, I'm not going to be able to check to make sure they have the right bearings (ABEC5) to make sure those weren't switched as well (some online dealers have been known to do this because the average person doesn't know their skates that well - just check the parts when you get them).4. NOT a deciding factor, but that little Moxi "M" on the side of only ONE of the skates is CUT OUT - it is not black embroidered, or lined, it is a HOLE in the boot.I'm a regular skater, I've gotten much nicer, professional quality skates at around the same price or a little more - so I'm a little disappointed in Riedell with these skates... I would have liked to have seen a better plate and a little more structure/support for the listed price. The wheels not being the right color is what really bothers me, so I think if I decide I really want them I will order locally...

Excellent quality and speedy delivery
Excellent quality skates, ordered them on a Sunday night and had then by that Wednesday! Feel very lucky considering most people in the UK unable to get hold of moxi skates let alone any skates at all at the moment. I am a UK size 7 and ordered a moxi size 9 thinking it would be a bit big but it fits perfectly. Comes fitted with moxi gummy outdoor wheels, will need to change to a harder wheel if you're planning to do indoor skating or the rink and the skatepark.

Worth the money?
I'm new to skating and have been learning in chaya melrose deluxe which are super comfy but very stiff. I want to learn to dance/do moves so thought I'd buy lollys as they are very hyped up for this kind of thing. First impressions? Firstly the insole is a hideous, hard thing which needs binned. These aren't anywhere as comfy as my chayas and will need broken in. The tongue of the skate ends up round the side of your ankle/foot. Beautiful looking skates but not sure worth the money. Pics are of skates customised. I'll update the review once I've broken them in and see if they are as awesome as everyone says.

I think I'll be forever loyal to the Moxi brand
£300 is a big investment to put into skates but if you're really determined to commit to roller skating, then it'll be sosososo worth it. The honeydew colour needs way more love than it gets because it's so pretty irl. The default wheels and toe stops are really good and the moxi wheels are versatile for both indoors and outdoors. What I think really stands out compared to other brands is how slim the lining/cushioning of the boot is. A lot of other brands are really thick and stiff, which makes it both bulky and hot. These are well ventilated and it feels like wearing a snug glove on your foot! The only thing down thing I'd say about this product is you'll be too afraid to skate in them because they're so pretty and you don't wanna damage them!

Great fit, love them!
Love these skates! Really great fit. I am a UK size 5 and went for the size 6. I used the sizing chart, measured my foot and they fit really nicely. I used them a few times with the wheels they came with -moxies gummies - which are very forgiving in rough ground and give a smooth roll. But are quite large and make the skates a little heavy. To level up I changed them out for radar wheels and now they feel like a part of foot when I skate and allow you feel the trucks a little more. Get the radar wheels if you want to improve the maneuverability! You won’t regret it!

Best decison made!
Absolutely love these. After a few weeks hunting to find any skates during lockdown these came up in my size. Was a little skeptical as they were a little snug initially but after my first skate they are perfect. So glad I went with them. What an investment!
