I was a little bit scared to buy such an expensive item without ever having seen it. After reading all the reviews I decided to take the plunge and just get it. We were getting a little desperate considering we had thrown out our old comforter about 3 months ago because it was totally shredded, and we have been using a thin, small quilt on our California King sized bed and fighting over the covers every night! This comforter didn't disappoint in any department! It is beautiful. The fabric is very nice and luxurious with a bit of a sheen which I love. It is fluffy and wonderful and perfect to cuddle up under! It's not super heavy but heavy enough to feel enveloped in soft, fluffy clouds of joy! I think the seller says it is about 7.5 lbs. It is warm also. I've been using an electric blanket on my side of the bed because I freeze at night in Idaho! The first night I didn't even turn my electric blanket on, and I finally decided to just take it off because this comforter is WARM. My husband would probably say it's a bit too warm for him, but he is a hot sleeper and just throws it back when it gets too warm. The comforter is plenty big and gives us a good 12-16 inches overhang on our California King bed. No more fighting over the covers! It makes our bed look and feel so soft and fluffy and inviting and luxurious! I feel like I never want to get out of bed again!! We have a very firm mattress which I can't say I absolutely love, but this comforter somehow makes me feel like the bed isn't so hard anymore!

You can't tell by all my ratings that I really like this! For lightweight I gave it a 2 because it's quite heavy - almost like it's weighted, which makes comfort 3 stars since I prefer a lighter weight. BUT, for softness & overall rating I gave it 5 stars because I actually only wanted it for it's puffy, fluffy look to make my bed look good & inviting, which it does. After months of research, I purchased this oversized King to drape over my queen bed. I was looking for extra fluffy but not hot and this, my friends, is the one! It's perfect! The noise mentioned by other reviewers is minimal. I love this comforter!

...at least it was for us. We wanted a giant, comfy, 4 star hotel quality comforter. We wanted the kind of comforter that you could wrap around you and jump out of a plane with and be perfectly protected. This is that comforter. We wanted a comforter that you could sink into and find a land of sunshine and dinosaurs at the center of the Earth. This is that comforter. We wanted a comforter that the light of a blazing sun from the surface of Mercury could not penetrate. This IS that comforter. Just don't expect to find a duvet cover for this. This is NOT that comforter. Be okay with the color you order or dye it. Also, don't expect to be able to sit on the edge of your bed while it's on as the fluffiness of it will cast you violently to the floor.

For the King 110x98Pros:- So fluffy. It's like sleeping in a cloud!- The extra length is really convenient for taller peopleCons:- I would say its warmer than medium warmth. We keep fans on at night, so we are keeping this but it can get hot when outside temperatures are 50+ (Fahrenheit)- Given the bigger size, we had some difficulty finding a duvet cover big enough. This isn't a critique of the product, just acknowledging this for buyers awareness.

We are so in love with this comforter. And it's such a great price!! The cotton is nice and breathable, so we don't get all hot and sweaty. It's lightweight, but it's suuuuper fluffy!! I can't believe how puffy it is while not being too hot. It's exactly what I was looking for. My king size mattress and box springs are 22 inches tall combined, and while the blanket doesn't entirely cover them (just a couple inches short), it goes low enough that you can't actually see any of the box springs, which I was worried about. It's so luxurious. It didn't smell like anything when we took it out of the packaging, so that was a relief considering it is too large to wash in our machine. I'm having a hard time finding an affordable duvet cover to fit that is cotton or linen. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to pay twice as much for the cover that's supposed to protect the comforter.. I might as well just buy a backup comforter (which I'm tempted to do anyway).

This comforter is awesome. It's nice & fluffy. I was sceptical about purchasing one online, but, I am pleasantly surprised. I also read in one of the reviews that the comforter was crinkly & sounded like plastic. That is not the case. It's soft & fluffy & nice & warm & doesn't make a sound. I fit it into my King Size Duvet Cover that measures 106"x92", this down comforter fit inside it like a glove. I'm so extremely happy with this purchase. My husband likes it too & he's really not one to comment on bedding. Two thumbs up at my house. I can't wait to go to bed at night ;) I Love It!!!

Love, love, love this comforter. Was all set to lay out hundreds of dollars for a goose down when I came across this one. Read each and every review and decided I would try this one and if it didn’t work out at least I wouldn’t be out hundreds of dollars and I would keep it at least a year. Well, I love it.! It fits my king size bed perfectly and it is so fluffy. It has no odor that I can detect I have a duvet cover on mine to protect it. It is so warm. It is perfect.
