Unique...and perfect!
This is the only low-profile magnetic block that wasn't wall mounted that I could find. Because it ships fairly unprotected in a cardboard box, mine was a little bent like others have said. But it's nothing a little coercion couldn't fix! We love it, it saves a lot of counter space, and it displays our nice knives in a really striking way. No issues at all with the grip it provides. Highly recommended!

Looks and works great.
Got this a month ago. It looks and works great. We followed the directions (e.g., not in sun or heat) and our knives are made of magnetic metal. No problems. We're quite happy with it.

I usually do not like things on my counters, but this looks amazing. Added sliders on base to facilitate access to both sides easily. Could not be more pleased with the convenience as well as beauty.

Made wrong
Upon open I noticed one screw was loose then saw that it was slanted and the Name was on the back. It looked nothing like pic on Amazon. So displeased!

Pretty good, magnet could be stronger.
Product works well but has some difficulty with knifes with tappered blade heels or thin or small knives(fillet, paring, bread knife). Holds my chef's knife great though.
