BEAUTIFUL, glossy, nicely made book! Lovely pictures, and guided walking tours, made to last for a leisurely, realistic walk if one is lucky enough to get to actually visit these areas. PLUS a description of which episodes the houses and grounds and parks were filmed. Great quality...the other book I purchased was informative but seemed slapped together, while this book is a nice glossy well made book with clear, gorgeous glossy pictures, made to last and ENJOY. It has a list of pubs and facilities to visit and use if one does take it to the areas described in this glorious and lavishly done book. Even as a book to enjoy thousands of miles away, one gets the feeling from the glorious pictures that one has found a bit of the real English countryside to enjoy!!

A thoroughly good read
What a shame this book wasn't available when my daughter used to live in Buckinghamshire. It covers areas where I walked, and many others and contains details about the places along the routes. Nice photos too, although some would have been better in a larger format. A thoroughly good read that brought back many good memories for me.
