My Fiance loves to cook. He also loves to watch shows like Forged in Fire. I didn't know what Damascus was before that. I bought this knife as a Christmas gift and he absolutely loves it. He now wants the whole set, which is gift ideas sorted for the next few years! Haha. He has had to sharpen it a few times, but it has seen a lot of wear. It doesn't like bones, they dull it quite a bit but I guess they would dull any knife. It is his pride and joy in the kitchen. He says it feels good to use, has good balance, whatever that means, and is razor sharp once sharpened. I think it looks great. I got the chef's knife and will be looking into others in the set.

Got it for my boss as a gift. He likes knives and he likes cooking... winning combo. He loved it so much, he wants to use it as show piece moreso to cook with it. I'm a knife guy as well and always wanted to buy a damascus knife for myself just because they look so damn cool. Two thumbs up!!!

Super sharp, great quality! Allows me to slice fruits and veggies quickly and precisely. The handle has a good feel in the hands and it seems like really high quality at a reasonable price point. Very happy with this!

Be careful giving these as gifts to people who haven’t ever cooked with a sharp knife before. I warned my dad up and down that it’s razor sharp and not like any of his other knives, but he didn’t understand how easily it cuts through anything under it.Fantastic knife, but most people don’t know to respect razor sharp kitchen knives. I’ll be buying cut proof gloves next time i get one as a gift.

Good value with the 20% discount. Needed a mid quality knife with a synthetic handle, something that the wife can throw into the dish washer because she refuses to wash knives by hand.This is not the knife I would choose for me though, and here’s why:The handle is too thin and rounded, not suitable for my big hands.The knife was ok sharp out of the box, but after some easy sharpening on 1000 and 3000 grit whetstones it turned out great.
