Better bag, easier to use
This bag is better. The flip value is positive close with a snap you can feel and hear, can be opened and closed with one hand (really helpful); and, if you have to, the bag can hold a lot without problems. Other bags are harder to open and close. Several use a clip meaning you are using both hands. If your loved one has mental impariment or a family member helping has arthritis in their hands, the twist-flip value makes a world of difference.Other bags do not self clean as well, can hang awkwardly and will splash if full as a metal clip and tube do not have enough weight. It is simple enough that a patient can operate it when he or she cannot empty other bags. The drawbacks are that the filler hose at the top of the bag is not stiff enough, so I use the provided string to lash the tube to the clip. The clip is fine for my uses. But it someone is bed ridden, it may be a little wimpy. The valve needs to be tapped to clear. Cleared, there is no drip. You can get a drop fall just as it shuts off if you do not flick or tap it. But that is what antibacterial wipes were made for and compared to what most caregivers have to clean up, it's nothing.I have been told Medicare pays for one bag per indwelling catheter change. I use two or more per change as its much cheaper than a UTI with hallucinations. With the internet, i encourage families that are caregiving not to hesitate to buy supplies. It saves money in the long run. Because I am changing the bag more often, I have no experience with long term durability. I change every three weeks or after there is a bleeding incident to assure everything stays as clean as possible. The provider I am using through Medicare will specify this bag upon request. But you usually have to tell them as the bag is more expensive. I buy the rest. This bag is so much easier to use that if my loved one comes home from the hospital or long-term care, I swap to this bag instead of waste time with a different type. I have also had professional caregivers ask if I can give them one of mine instead of use what they normally have. Nurses and aids like it too. Finally, if you are caregiving, keep up the hard work. Many say, "I love you." But you are proving it as love in action.

The . Best . Bags . Available.
Dover 2000ml bag by Cividien is a well made, quality product. The triangular shape allows all the urine to drain from the bag when emptying it. The drain valve can be easily operated one-handed so you can hold a collection vessel with the other. The valve closes securely, and will not pop open on its own. The connection to the catheter tube is graduated and “ribbed”, so that it can be attached without tape and will not separate unless one purposely wants to do so. The Dover urine bag deserves 10 stars.

Only received one
I ordered the 5 pack and only received 1 bag. That’s very expensive for one bag. They are a quality bag and easy to use but not for that price. Please change advertising for 5 if you are only sending 1, or Please send the other bags. Thank you

Simple and secure
One hand operation unlike some others requiring a lot of finger dexterity to open and close, position in a hole each time you emptied. Good price too

Luv the long tubing
Unlike other brands the curity brand bedside drainage back is such a relief for me. I like to toss and turn during the night and many other brands tubes are too short or stiff and will pull apart. Great product.
