It's easy for him to get in
I normally never write a review. But for this I feel it's necessary. My big boy loves it. I purchased the largest size, just so he would have plenty of room to move around. My dog is 110 pounds and is 15 years old. It's easy for him to get in, which has been a problem in the past with the larger hard plastic blue pools from Walmart due to his age, sometimes it's difficult to step over the pool edge, he had no problem getting in this one. Maybe it was the excitement of a new pool, but he did it. My nephew, who is 9 actually set this up for me, so it's easy to set up. Came in a plastic bag (kinda like a comforter). It's sturdy, not flimsy like some of the reviews I have read, which is why I was hesitant to buy. I must say, So glad I decided to purchase this. I would buy it 100 more times! Highly recommend!

Durable and great fun for the dogs... and me!
UPDATE 4/12/20 -- I am now the proud owner of THREE of these dog pools. I have an XXL (photos of the brown 60 lb dog and black 40 lb dog), XL (photos of the merle coated 80 lb dog), and S pool for our backyard frogs that wouldn't stay out of the big pools! Yes, I bought the frogs their own pool... that's how amazing these pools are! We had the XXL and XL pools out every day last summer (changed the water 2x per week) and they were used daily by all 3 dogs. There have been no punctures of any sort or any issues at all with these pools, and my dogs can play pretty rough at times. The XXL pool was used for both the 2018 and 2019 summers with no issues. These pools are literally my dogs' favorite part of summer... I can't keep them out of them! As soon as we get back from a walk, they jump right in!UPDATE 5/22/19 -- I wrote the below review after a week of using the dog pool last summer. It ended up holding up well all summer... no rips or leaks. The dogs get so excited when we bring it out and start filling it up. We've since added another dog to our pack and will be purchasing another one of these pools!ORIGINAL REVIEW 7/2018 -- I am really happy with this dog pool! I ordered the XXL size so it was big enough for my two dogs (60 lbs and 40 lbs) and quite honestly, for me to sit in too! The pool is plenty large enough for the dogs to splash around and lay down in, even with me sitting in there. The pool came with a patch, so I was concerned that it could easily rip, but it seems very durable. There is a lighter blue line around the inside bottom edge of the pool, and my 60 lb dog sees it and keeps "digging" at the bottom edge and he hasn't ripped it. It's been 90+ here for the past week and we've been using the pool every day. It's a great way to keep the dogs cool!

Good product - Read this if you are trying to determine what size to get
My dilemma on this one was trying to gauge the size of the pool. If you read some of my other reviews, I seem to have a problem judging size. Yes, size matters... when purchasing dog pools. I got out a tape measure and tried to visualize the pool sitting in my living room. I got the puppy and had her sit in the middle of my imaginary pool. I had to make a split second decision. You try getting a 3-month-old puppy to stand still for 5 seconds. So - here's a video of our 25lb Sheprador (such a cool breed name) in the "Large" version of this pool (48inch.D x 11.8inch.H, Blue). I think I nailed it right on the size. The next size up didn't seem worth the money. At the XXL size, might as well just use my real pool. It's made from pretty sturdy material. I don't think the dog is going to puncture the bottom unless your dog has razer nails. I mean, my puppy has razer teeth but I only call them razer nails when I'm try to cut them and the back ones slice my arm. I wouldn't recommend letting your dog "dig" at the bottom though. You can see the strength of the side walls in the video. One thing I didn't realize... The drain is great. Very well made but it takes some time to fully drain the pool. I find myself lifting up the side of the pool and creating a tidal wave effect as the water flows over the walls and onto the ground. The pup loves topping off the day with attempts to drink the rushing water.Bottom line, good product. Only complaint - the carrying case they give you is probably going to turn out useless. I haven't tried to get it back into the small carrying case. It's pretty thin and it's going to take some puzzle solving to get it packed in. I should have taken a picture of it before I took it out.Disclaimer: I'm not sure "Sherprador" is an actual breed name but when I looked up German Shepard and Labrador mix, that's what came up and it's so cool, I had to use it.

Very Happy! Me and the dog!
We are pleased with the pool. The dog loves it!I really struggled with what size to get. We wanted the dog to have fun but we also wanted it to be easy for us to give him a bath without having to get in ourselves. So we decided to get the Large size. I’m actually glad I did cause it does take a bit of water to fill it up and I don’t keep the water in there. So I don’t want to waste too much water every time the dog wants to play. It seems very durable. His nails are like weapons and the pool is unscathed. I am so glad we got it and the dog was so happy! He’d play then take two big victory sprints around the yard and back in the pool.

Perfect pet pool!
Pool works great (so far anyway, 10 minutes in, LOL), exactly what was expected and a great price compared to most others of the same kind. Our lab was in it as soon as the water started! (Then my 2 girls took over!) A great time was enjoyed by all!The following day she had a friend over...they loved it!!
