The Iron Sword

I really can't express my opinion on this book, as it was an offer to my twelve-year old granddaughter. However, I can say she likes fantasy books a lot. In addition, I believe it is interesting for people who like this genre, regardless their age.

Whenever an author revisits one of their popular series, I’m always nervous, because it is so hard to capture the magic of the original series. But Julie Kagawa has done it perfectly here. It was the perfect blend of nostalgia and new adventures while also not messing with things that were gained in the original series. It was so great being back with Ash, Meghan, and Puck again and I loved this one.

A wonderful 2nd book in The Evenfall series! Can’t wait to see the story continue. Ash is one of my favorites!
