Hated to have to get it but has been coming in very handy for puppy training. This is a bit larger for my dog but it does the trick. with this collar, you do not have to shock the dog. There is a sound and vibration setting that will get your furbaby’s attention enough for them to obey the commands. I have not had to “shock” my furbaby with this collar and for someone like me that didn’t want to have to- just need him to listen the first time- this is great. You will not be dissappointed.

This is a great training collar. I previously gave it one star as one of my two collars failed and I was getting the run around then the silent treatment with regard to a warranty replacement. Since I am in the process of training my two dogs and I needed the replacement badly, I went ahead and bought another single collar so I could get back on track with my training. My replacement collar and transmitter are due to arrive tomorrow. Well what do you know? Unbeknown to me, a replacement (warranty) collar came in the mail today. Would have been nice if I knew it was coming. I wouldn't have bought a new collar. Anyway I am glad to re-rate the collar for its value. If not for the lack of communication, I would gladly give five stars.

We purchased this to train our dog who would scratch on the door. We used the Vibration, which worked well. The easy adjustment had many options for adjustment.Their customer support is beyond most customers expectations.

I bought this after having lost a similar product that was much more expensive and had great range, battery life, etc. I determined I didn't need great range as my dog is not a runner so this product at only $19 sounded great.Battery:Sender is going into sleep mode when not used and I have used it for 4 days now without recharging. Still shows 4/4 bars for power.Collar does not have a battery indicator, but is still working after 4 days. I do power it off after each use - about 1.5 hrs per day.Range:As I said I don't have a big need for range. Has worked at 150ft.Signals:I only use the beep and vibrate. Dog doesn't need anything more. He learnt from the first collar that if he doesn't listen after the vibrate their can be a shock.Comfort:Much bigger unit on the collar than previous unit but I have a big dog so not an issue. Collar can fit a big dog - 100lbs. I have removed the metal probes as I don't need the shock. It comes with multiple probe lengths. With the probes it could get uncomfortable if left on the dog.

We have a doodle. A stubborn doodle. We love her but this device has been incredibly helpful. We only used the shock on a very low voltage a couple of times and she got the idea. Now, we only use the beep or vibrate. If she disappears to the neighbors it’s easy to call her back with the beep ( we also use a whistle). We also use it to curb her barking. This product is very well made. We have a pond and our doodle is frequently in it with the collar on. I highly recommend this product for training. But, please remember to not use the shock on a high voltage. It’s not necessary and can be abused.
