Pierre DumasWomen's Hester-1 Wedge Sandals

I don't own a pair of OTBTs (and can't justify spending the money on them now), so I can't compare the comfort level of the two but these are exactly what I was looking for as far as appearance goes. The first night I wore them I stood for more than 5 hours and never had an issue with them making my feet hurt, or even go through the typical "new shoe" breaking-in phase. Women wearing OTBTs the same night as me were so curious as to where they came from and where they could get a pair, because they wanted a less expensive alternative so they could have many colors!I have a wide foot, wear an 8.5, and they are perfect from side to side and cover the sides of my feet well. Very true to size, ordered Pewter and came exactly as shown in the picture. Never slipped to the front of the shoe, never went off the side, and no issues walking around in them.The ONLY issue I have had so far is one time while walking up stairs the back of the shoe slipped off a bit, but I was able to walk back into it (and, honestly, I'm not the most coordinated so it totally could've been me).Will definitely be buying in a different color!

These are really well made & comfortable. My feet are almost flat...but they do have a small arch. These shoes are a little on the wide side but they're basically a medium width. They're not for narrow feet. If I had to stand on them all day long, I'd get cushions for the bed of the shoe but I always do that regardless of the shoes. I love the way they feel around my feet. They look a little big & clunky in the photo but they're not clunky after you put them on. The colors match almost any color. I'm short & need a few inches so these are perfect.

I freakin love these wedges. Easy to get on and off, super cute to dress up or dress down any outfit but were a smiddddgeeee too small. I'm a solid size 9 across the board with all shoes, but these made me have the hangin' over toes which just isn't for me. Haven't checked if there's half sizes, but if there is, I'd get a 9.5

I have no idea why people are complaining about ANYTHING in regards to these shoes. They're lighter than a Birkenstock. They ran extremely true to size. They hold my foot in place without slippage. The footbed is soft and not that slippery icky fake leather junk on other brands (Corkys)! I have a 3 year old and can still run around in these without hesitation that I might fall down a flight of stairs or trip in the yard. They're perfectly comfortable. I wish people would quit having expectations that a PLATFORM WEDGE sandal is supposed to be like wearing a Nike all day long. I'll pass on the OTBT just so I can have these in every color. I live in FL where I can wear these all year, so I do plan on owning all colors.I will post pictures later of the shoes on, on my postage meter so you can see how lightweight they are, and of the shoes construction. I'm a true 8.5 medium, and that's what I ordered. These are a perfect fit in every way possible. You can't beat the price. I ordered these in pewter because I knew they'd go with everything I own. I also ordered a Teva platform sandal. I'm disappointed in my new Teva compared to these as far as fit and comfort.I'm a 38 year old mom of 2 and these have surpassed my expectations. Skip the OTBT because you can have 3-4 pairs of these (when you catch the price low) instead. They'll wear out at the same rate as the OTBT because you're not wearing the same pair day in and day out.If my opinion changes I'll let you know!The color, I'd also like to add, is exactly as it appears in the photos.

I had ordered the Gold in 8 1/2 they are beautiful but slightly too big so the next pair will be an 8 which is what I normally wear. Also, had trouble with Amazon actually getting my order out 5 days still sitting in their warehouse. All means to communicate with them down. I then contacted the vendor and explained the situation and also explained that I wanted the shoes for an upcoming event. After that conversation I received my shoes two days later, just in time for my event. Ps. I ordered up a size because of the reviews, I shouldn't have, they fit to size.

I purchased the Corky's Wedge in bronze size 8 and the Pierre Dumas Hester-1 Wedge in silver size 7.5 and 8 because of sizing issues described by viewers. Both are great looking shoes. Here's how they compare.Corky's (http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01BW3H9QQ)Pros:-True to size-Not too steep a slope-Toe strap fits snuggly, but doesn't bother a slight bunion I have on one foot.-Heel strap does not slip-Top strap keeps the shoe firmly on my foot without a flip flop effect.-Comfortable!-Vegan man made materialPossible Cons:-Foot bed is pleather, when my foot is sweaty it makes a little sound when I walk, but seems like it will be easy to wipe off and keep clean.-Sides are a matte pleather.-Soles get a little fuzzy with wear, which is weird, but trim it or sand it off as one reviewer suggested. (Not like a hair piece. That seems like an exaggeration.)Pierre Dumas Hester-1 (http://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01AB3DTVM)Pros:-Foot bed is soft faux suede-Sides are rich looking faux suede.-Heel strap does not slip (others say it does)-Vegan man made materialCons:-Toe strap is way too loose on both sizes (a little less so on the 7.5). This caused my foot to slide forward and made my toes go right to the front edge of the shoe. I was concerned over time with stretching my toes would be over the edge of the shoe. Because of this it caused a bit of a flip flop effect when walking making them overall less comfortable and the fit was awkward.CONCLUSIONThe Pierre Dumas Hester -1 looks just a bit more sophisticated with the faux suede finishing. However, the Corky's still looked great and the fit was far superior, so I kept the Corky's and sent the Pierre Dumas Hester -1 back.I'm considering a second pair of Corky's. They're a great alternative to OTBT, too. I have a few OTBTs in other styles and these are every bit as comfortable.
