Pureness Giant Cat Litter Pan, Assorted Colors

This is a very good litter pan. Most of them smell after a little while or while the litter is in there or when the animal uses the box I found this is a very good sturdy easy to clean pan. I really like this one a lot. I’ve been using it for many years.

So what can one say about a no-frills litter box? What I like is that it’s larger than most. Since I don’t have too much to say about the box itself, I’ll offer a bit of wisdom. In my opinion most manufacturers of cat litter recommend a deeper level of litter than necessary. This effectively jacks up the price of the litter, especially when the litter box is on the large side. Over the years our cats have done just fine with less litter than usually recommended. The only reason I’m giving this litter box four stars rather than five is because its price has increased about 50% in the six months since I purchased it.

Huge and fantastic!I bought this to replace the Petmate Booda Dome Cleanstep Cat Box which I've used for about a year and a half. I liked the size and depth of it, but my cat hated using a hooded dome and would leave me little surprises around my home. I've used it for about a year now without the hood, just the base, and she had a thing for peeing at the edges and then digging incessantly causing pileup on the carpet. Worse still was the occasional messes left on the stairs, half buried with litter tossed over the side. The Purness Giant Cat Litter Pan solves all of this for me in that it's big enough for her to comfortably use and deep enough to prevent overside spillage.I was concerned it might take her some getting used to because she's so picky about litter boxes, but within five minutes of setting it out with fresh litter she's already used it without me even noticing! This means no telltale flinging of litter or incessant flopping the side of the box back and forth with her paw, giving me both a quieter and cleaner home!Very happy with the size, deep and wide. I received the blue box, and though I would have been happy with any color, this is just the icing on the cake. Seems to be pretty durable, and I like that the edges have enough length to comfortably provide grip for moving. I was torn between selecting this product and another similar sized litter box, and the deciding factor ended up being the size and shape of the edges. Always nice to be able to vacuum around and underneath as needed!

When I downsized after my husband's death, about a year and a half ago, my daughter purchased a large box from WM. I use an excellent clumping litter, so I scoop the clumps out and as the litter goes down a refill more litter. The only thing that I noticed was the powdery residue from my old litter stuck on the bottom and I would try to scrape it off since my present litter doesn't do that and there is absolutely no odor. I only have one cat now and I clean out the litter every night.I decided to get a new litter box and use the heavier litter because it's clumping action is superior and the lightweight formula, while good, it is not quite as good. I shopped through all the litter boxes and decided to get this "Giant" litter box. When went to switch the boxes my daughter noticed that this box was a bit smaller than the one she had purchased for me when I moved here a year and a half ago. I was kind of surprised because this touts itself a GIANT! I do like the long sides that are higher and it seems that I am the one spilling litter on the floor when I clean the litter out at night. One of the two ends is a bit lower which I guess is good for small cats or kittens. I guess if you want to decide, you can scroll down on the Amazon product page and write down the dimensions for each pan in order to get the idea of which pan was the best for your household.

Must be sturdy, easy to clean, and repel odors or it would not have been on their wish list. Support your local human society!

I love these litter boxes. I have ordered them 4 times so far. The main reason I am giving three stars now is that I decided that I was going to purchase more. When I purchased them last year. The giant litter boxes only cost 9.99 per box. Now it has gone up to 24.01 PER BOX!!!!! The price increase is just something that I can not afford. Now I am going to have to try and find another brand that has the same quality as these for a better price. I can understanding raising prices but raising them approximately 2.5 times the price from last year is just ridiculous.

Hi: My Cat had a hip injury a while back and was having a bad time using her regular litter box. She would end up limping after using her box due to the higher sides. I purchased this "Jumbo" Litter Box ... it was Big and also had high sides but I cut out a section of the front side. ( just followed the raised lines in the front & cut carefully with a Sharp Box cutter tool). That allowed her to just walk into the front of the box, do her business and walk out instead of jumping out. I left only about 2" at the bottom which could have been a bit more but it worked out Great. I just left less litter near the front of the box. A Nice Big Box for the money and it solved Kitty's problem. It certainly worked out well during the injury & at a cheap price too.I would recommend this Litter Pan/Box to anyone wanting or needing a larger box. The More Room the Better .. for Any or ALL CATS.Thanks for making this item available at a very Reasonable Price.

These litter trays are such good, sturdy quality and, are of an excellent size, approx: 22" long x 15" wide x 7" high.Thanks to the high sides and generous proportions, cat litter is not spread around so much by enthusiastic feline excavators! Even our largest cat can be accommodated with room to spare - so no more embarrassing - for him - messy "misses" to clean-up. (Our smallest cat has absolutely no problem either and is not at all fazed by all the extra space.)The Van Ness trays are not at all brittle, like some of the cheaper ones which are widely available from many supermarkets and pet stores; from personal experience, those have a tendency to split and break within a very short time.It was not possible to choose a colour, but the two trays we ordered (from VetUK, here at Amazon) are both a pleasing shade of blue.An excellent buy.

Great bed for the cat to sleep in....he loves it!

They are deep and large enough for my biggest cat. I doubt you would find better.
