[UPDATE 3/7/22] I contacted the company and they sent me a new set of cutting boards, so they get an additional star for their customer service. The new boards are holding together better so far but they are still lightweight and a bit rough on the surface. I think for the price they are a good buy, if they continue to hold up.[ORIGINAL] These cutting boards are pretty. They arrive quickly and are good sizes BUT after 15 days they are splitting. The medium size one is split all the way through. The small one is starting to split on one side. We have never put them in the dishwasher, we hand wash them on all sides and leave to dry in a drying rack.One other complaint, which I was planning on fixing before the splits, is that the surface is a bit rough. It is just enough to so when they are wet you can see the fibers sticking up. I was going to wet sand them and treat with cutting board oil but I think they need to go back.I was getting these to replace some bamboo cutting boards that were about 15 years old. Never split and maintained a smooth surface. I hope you have better luck than I have!

set arrived, I washed them by hand and dried them. put the two smaller ones away and had the larger one sitting on counter. next day the "handle" had completely separated from the board.

I've always preferred bamboo cutting boards over other materials simply because they are beautiful (love the tiger stripes) and more eco-friendly than wood or synthetic materials. I also like that bamboo is lighter than other materials and naturally antibacterial.This three-piece set of bamboo cutting boards are well designed and includes the perfect range of sizes needed for my kitchen. I always look for cutting boards that are easy on my knives and have a juice groove. The bamboo keeps my blades in great condition without dulling them. I've also found the juice groove protects my countertop and makes cleanup much easier.I also really like that these boards are eco-friendly since they are manufactured from the organic material without any pesticides or stains. They are made of Moso bamboo, one of the most durable and strongest kinds of bamboo.I own other products from Royal Craft Wood as well and have never been disappointed with the quality and durability of any item. I would highly recommend any of their products.

I've had boards last longer before they needed a mineral oil treatment. This is a joke. If you plan on buying you should probably oil treat them as soon as you get them.

Perfect for the price, I use all the time and it beats using a plate to cook,chopped etc. .I use it for everything deboning, veggies, and I give it a beating when breaking down whole slabs of bone in ribs into 3 inch pieces.

Very nice and functional. However, the boards were not pretreated so I had to order spoon butter/board butter to add oil to the boards to keep them from splitting. The price was good so having to order board butter wasn't a huge deal.

We received these with a crack going down the large cutting board. The crack has only gotten wider. I wish we would've have returned.

Absolutely love these cutting boards. Beautifully designed and crafted. Very sturdy and easy to clean. I love the small trench around the board so even cutting juicy things like tomatoes is so much easier and less messy with these. The three sizes are great and I can easily separate cut items when I am cooking step by step. Great product!
