YardleyLondon April Violets Fragrance Mist 200 ml

I buy this product frequently. The batch that I received recently seemed to be very discoloured. Instead of a healthy bright pink, the solution was a cloudy, brownish colour. I it out of date, or has Yardley changed this product since I bought the last one?

I usually use fragrance mists from The Body Shop. Unfortunately, mine is empty now and due to the virus, I can't get me some new one.So I ordered this, as I am already using the rose hand lotion for years (and it's so lovely!).Unfortunately, the smell of this mist is extremely light and it has just a hint of rose. Even on the skin it barely smells.The scent vanishes nearly directly.Luckily, it wasn't too expensive, however, I am a bit disappointed and won't be buying it again.I'll go back to The Body Shop as soon as it's possible.

I've purchased this multiples times before and was always a great product.Not sure what happened with this batch but the colour was completely off.The scent was heavily alcohol based, would not risk putting on my skin.Amazon was nice enough to refund me but suggested waiting up to a month in order for them to ensure removal of the bad batch.Didn't want to give a 1-2 star because with past orders, it has been great and the scent is amazingly heavenly.

Someone bought me a gift set which included this body mist. I didn’t think I’d like it that much associating Yardley with something my granny might have worn - how wrong I was! A lovely cooling summery fresh fragrance which is also slightly moisturising. Perfect to take on holiday. I have since purchased another spray and no doubt when we are eventually allowed to go back on holiday will purchase again. It is a very light fragrance, doesn’t smell at all cheap (despite the low cost) and if you wish to wear your usual perfume at the same time this subtle smell will in no way overpower it. Simply lovely.

It's a sharp sweet rose aroma; I like it and it lasts for a while. I think it's good value compared to the eau de toilette version, although that lasts longer and has more rounded nuances to the aroma (me getting all fancy now, better stop it there!). UPDATE: Bought it since they changed the bottle: it now reminds us that it is vegan.. good to know. I just read a few reviews saying it's a very mild scent and doesn't last. It is akin to a body spray, I use it to refresh clothing and it tends to last on clothing but it is mild like a body spray, I like it, anything stronger in a spray like this is obviously going to be over the top artificial. People do remark on it so it is noticeable. The dental nurse noticed it and asked what that beautiful smell was; I told her what it was and that I had applied a lot of it that day to cover up the smell of fear.. LOL! She said she was going to purchase some as she thought it was lovely. As I said I had drowned myself in it that day, I usually just use a reasonable amount on my clothing as I can't wear deodorant as it gives me a rash. Anyway basically if you need something stronger then get the eau de toilette; it's still a reasonable price, I think you would find that a stronger scent and long lasting on skin.
