I attached a wired electronic dog fence controller to the inside mat, installed a water tight wire coupler into the side and hung on wall near an electric outlet. The dog stays in the yard and the the controller stays dry in the box.

I bought this box to fit a Hybrid Solar/Wind charge controller which measures 12"x12". Unfortunately, the boxes dimensions of 13"x13"x5" reflect the outer most rim of the flanged top/lid. The inside measures 12"x12". My charge controller only fit after some careful trimming. Other than that, the box is sturdy and well built.

Relatively cheap weather proof box to protect my natural gas fittings ( not in direct sunlight) outside for the generator hose connection. Going the extra mile!

I needed a weatherproof enclosure for my robotic pool vacuum's control box...yes, an outdoor product that is not weatherproof. This box was perfect to fix that. It came with mounting hardware and a pair of cable bushings that adjust from 3/4" to 1/2". I didn't need either, but for many applications they would be handy. Instead I used some of the mounting holes to screw the box to the post, drilled out holes big enough to accommodate the cables, then added rubber gaskets made from an old bike inner tube to keep the bugs out. Drilling the plastic was easy, with only a little cleanup required around the edges. The insert grid was nice, because I could attach the electronics to that, then mount it into the box. The transparent lid lets me see the device's status without opening the box.Update: we had our first big thunderstorm since I installed this, and the inside remained entirely dry, so it's doing a good job.

Wish it was a little heavier duty, but it seems to seal well and will serve the purpose. Thanks!
