They work great with both systems.
The dog does not set it off, only people! Adjustment for the time works perfect and you can mount it inline and it will swivel down to catch movements or mount it remotely (but you’ll need an adapter to reconfigure it [female adapter, f/f cord or an extra long f/m cord). Great choice if you don’t want the standard sensor with the photocell overriding.

Don't buy
Stops auto turning off the light after a few weeks, now light stays on all the time. Oops, now it works again, oops, now it has stopped working again, light stays on all the time, have to turn light off and on manually again.
