I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old cat, Einstein. He loves to sleep in small places. It arrived yesterday and I was able to put it together reasonably quickly. It is quite sturdy, the material is strong, and comes with a furry cover. He would not get into it with the cover on so I took it off and he has claimed the hammock for his use only! The problem I now have is that my 10-week old rescue kitten has decided that she wants it and he is very possessive and attacks her if he finds her in it. I have ordered another one for the kitten. I think they like it as it is off the ground and cooler. It doesn't take up much room and it ifits nicely in the corner of the kitchen.

So far it has held up well and still looks pretty. I had to put it in a corner as it slides on the floor quiet a lot, but the product value is a good one for the money. I’ve thought about adding suction cups to the bottom to hold it in place on my laminate flooring. The cats love to sleep in it more than playing with the spring toys attached. I would recommend to owners of animals not extremely heavy since the inlay is Velcroed onto the metal and not sown on.

The item was easy to assemble, is made primarily out of metal, and comes with a furry cushion.Materials overall were great for the price, the base is metal, the seat is that synthetic blend which is woven so cat can't destroy it easily, seat seams easily cleaned for minor spills due to the synthetic blend. The added cushion is plush and surprisingly doesn't smell. The furry balls are not falling apart! Unlike other furry stuff I get I'm happy the furry balls are well made, and survive chewing :)Once you figure out which the wires for the plush balls go, the reset of the assembly is easy, and overall sturdy without anything shaking or rumbling.

The media could not be loaded. Once I got the hang of the direction of the curved pieces and the curved and pieces on the legs, it was fairly easy to assemble just had to really crank down on the screws. But it all fits together as it’s supposed to. My kitten jumped right in and started gently playing with a little waving balls.

The hammock is cute, but I had a problem with actually getting mine. The first one I was sent was already put together, but the fur attachment was missing. The second one was not put together at all. I would advise to get this for kittens or small cats, too small for larger cats.

My wife wasn't sure if this would be a good buy - originally purchased for a pregnant feral cat we brought into the home after she had her litter. We thought she would like it - turns out after a few weeks - the kittens are the main users - at any given time there are from one to all five kittens sleeping, playing, battling on it. One of the best purchases we have made - first one we bought got lost in transit and we ordered another - it came and everyone loves it. (I tried to take the picture when these two were sleeping - but I made too much noise - lol)

My cat is very finicky, I've purchased several pet beds that she will not use, but she loves this one! She will not sleep on my bed, my chair, my lap, nothing too close; but she always sleeps nearby. It took her a few hours to finally step onto the new bed and sit down. I wanted something that would be cool for her during the summer time. She loves my folding chairs, so I was really hoping that she would like this. Shes not playful much in her old age, but every so often I do catch her playing with the fuzzy toys! I'm very happy that she loves her bed!
