U-Lactin Therapeutic Lotion is a Godsend
This stuff is hard to find offline, but if you can get it here or from a local pharmacy, you won't regret it. Best stuff ever. No added fragrance. No lanolin or silicone (unusual for a skin lotion). The lactic acid and urea do what other lotions can't, which is to deeply condition the skin so that it remains softer even if you don't use it daily. Compared to Amalactin, which is more expensive and tends in my experience to burn very dry skin due to the high ammonia content, this product does the job in a gentler, as-effective manner. It smoothes out the skin on one's elbows and feet and is more effective than average for conditions such as Keritosis Pilaris (aka "goose flesh"). Above all, U-Lactin is a stand-out for those with skin conditions that other lotions, balms, ointments and creams don't resolve, like cracked, splitting fingertips, as had been my spouse's problem. This is the first product of its kind that I can say without equivocation surpasses and replaces so many other drugstore brands.

Great product
I have had a very dry skin condition since birth. It was diagnosed as ichthyosis and resulted in a very scaly skin. About 25 years ago, a smart dermatologist, had me try a prescription lotion called "Lac hydrin" It worked, but it is a prescription, so I tried U-lactin (a non prescription product) and have been using it since. As long as I keep using it my skin is scale free and I am now 84 years young.I highly recommend this product. Amlactin works, but not anyway as good as U-lactin.

Beware - lotion watered down
I was surprised that the bottle came with all the protective sealed plastic covering removed. I have used this product for many years, and this was the first time it was not sealed in plastic to protect the end user. Next was even more surprising - its consistency was about half the viscosity I was used to. It made me think the plastic wrap covering was removed and a watered-down lotion was put back into the bottle. I used it again today after shaking the bottle in the hope of getting greater consistency. It just came out watered down.

Good lotion, moisturizes well and does not irritate skin
Good lotion, moisturizes well and does not irritate skin. I haven't noticed a difference in keratosis on my upper arms but I haven't used the lotion super consistently. I was a little annoyed that the product had begun to leak in the packaging. When I (stupidly) unscrewed it to clean up, even more lotion started oozing out because of the way the straw is designed. It would have been perfect if the lotion was locked to begin with so it wouldn't have leaked and I wouldn't have tried to fix it. It works fine now but I did lose a bit of lotion.

Excellent for Keratosis Pilaris
I have tried many products to improve the KP on the back of my arms. Within a week of using U-Lactin, I have seen a drastic improvement. I apply every morning after I shower (one squirt is enough for both arms). It absorbs quickly and doesn't have any odor once it is dry. There is a slight tack to the skin but not unpleasant. My skin looks more even and my arms are much smoother. I also use dry brushing everyday before showering and exfoliators (Derma Dr scrub) in the shower every few days. This lotion has given me the best results so far for my KP!

Great product
My foot surgeon originally had me try this after a cast was on my foot and lower leg for over 3 months. After the cast was removed the skin was horrible. After only a few uses of this product you would of never known I had a cast on that long. I use this product daily. I will never by another type of lotion. Well worth the price

U_Lactin -Very Diluted and Lack of Absorption
Contains Sodium Lauryl Sulfate - not sure why this is in lotion, it's a foaming agent in soap WTF! This product doesn't absorb well in humid conditions or wet skin. The 2% lactic acid is not sufficient.
