Q: Will this hoop possibly fit the Designer 1 machine? Thank you so much for your help!

NO....definitely not!....even if this was a REAL Majestic hoop, which it is not, the Designer 1 cannot use this hoop. It's too big. That said, I made the mistake of buying one of these fake Majestic hoops for my Viking Diamond and the machine didn't even recognize that a hoop was attached, yet my original Viking Majestic hoop works perfectly fine....on BOTH of my Diamonds.

Q: Does it work designer 1 machine?

The majestic hoop does not work on the older Viking sewing machines. I have an Epic with a large sewing bed and I once had a Designer 1 and the bed is too small to contain this very large hoop.

Yes,a Majestic hoop will work in an Epic. BUT IF IT IS NOT FROM A VIKING, IT WILL MORE THAN LIKELY be DEFFECTED. I BOUGHT ONE, IT ONLY WORKS ON ONE SIDE.
