First, I'm not a professional car mechanic. I can fix planes and helicopters, but not great with cars. Go figure. Anyway, ordered this because a vehicle maintenance light illuminated on two of my Hondas. Looked on line and found possible causes. Checked them and found nothing visible. If i took the vehicles to dealer, just hooking up the same sort of device would cost close to $200 per vehicle. Decided to buy a code reader and luckily it was prime day. Bought this reader at a great price. Boy am i impressed. Not only does it give you codes, but tells you what they mean AND lines up YouTube videos pertaining to the codes for you to watch. Totally blew my mind when i saw this. Out of 3 codes, fixed 2. The 3rd has the part in route. After you fix the problem you can clear the code. Had i not purchased this, who knows how much the dealer would have made off me. Well worth every penny. Buy it. Buy it. Buy it.

I am very impressed with this scan tool. As a DIY car repair guy, I purchased this to help me diagnose a brake problem. I was able to find out that the brake pressure to all 4 wheels was perfect and that an ABS module is at fault. This saved me hundreds of dollars since now I can fix it myself without going to a repair shop. I’m sure I will find many more uses for this tool moving forward!

Doesn't pick up my WiFi, inaccurate Web description, came with USB cable with one end with a C port, but no where to plug in on the device. The web description did not say you have to buy certain soft ware if you want them (ABS) for an example, which cost over $29 dollars each. I did not spend my money for unneccessary stress.

Does scan aftermarket MOTEC stand alone on my dodge viper. It also doesn't reset the factory service light on a 21' Porsche Macan.

Slow but worked for what I needed it for I just need to view trans Temps and codes haven't play with it much but seems ok

This is a awesome tool and offers everything you will need to find out and understand what's wrong with your vehicle.
