For the money these are excellent, I am pleasantly pleased with these plates there is only one caveat they need to be broken in first so don't get upset and think that they are too rough because they smooth out after you use them for just a little bit so sharpen an old knife or a chisel with them to begin with.

Gotta say i didnt expect much from these, i was very pleasantly shocked....If you are trying to get a mirror polished edge on custom knives these are not for you, but if you are wanting a set to maintain your edc knives, shop tools, etc. These are fantastic for the money, ive had them for months and sharpened a few knives I've made and all the knives in my house with them (mostly just to test em), chisels, spiral drill bits, and so on...no they probably aren't gonna last you the rest of your life, but if you're just learning, they are great beaters to do just that, buy yourself these stones a sharpal angle guide and youre ready to go...my only complaint is in the durability area, they are thin and will bend if probably if you throw them In a drawer with a bunch of junk, so I'd either mount them to a board or find a small box, I keep this set in a small knife box that was about the right size, in my pickup to have with me...anyway great value for the price, im very happy with them

Haven't had the chance to try them out yet. Noticed some minor piting at the edge of the two top fine grits however I don't think that will affect my use of them. Interested to see if like the 200 grit will help remove a ton of material to get the right profile on some chisels. I will come back after I run some chisels on these. Excellent deal at $4 and some change a piece. Compared to some other reviewers I got the correct grits. They will just have to have the seller send a replacement. For now it's a complete 5 stars from me.

Great value for the price. They work as expected. They are thin and light weight. The anti-slip backing does not work very well for me. Need to tape it down so that it will not move around.

Not sure they are actually diamond. After sharpening a chisel it seems to have worn down quite a bit and rusted really easily.

They work well for sharpening knives, chisels and plane irons.I did expect the plate to be a little bit thicker, but so far they haven't bent or warped. I've been very careful with them because of their thinness.Certainly a good starter set of diamond hones without breaking the back.

They are working great so far 6 chisels 3 planes 3 knives still working great.
