Satisfied with the buy
Easy to install , compact control module, each driving mode has 9 sensitivity levels.I use P1 with sensitivity 5 or 6 . Takes away the lag between gearshifts. So far happy with the product. You have to follow the user manual to calibrate it before use for best results.Cheaper, workable alternative compared to other branded options available in the market

Awesome Product but one detail
So I have a 2003 4runner SR5 V6 and ever since I got it it has had a horrible throttle delay and would sometimes jerk in stop and go traffic so I've been looking things up and eventually I found out that these Toyota are infamous for it. I'm not going to spend $300 on a pedal commander when I could just buy this. It did everything that it said it would do, very easy to install. I can't comment on fuel milage as I just installed it on my lunch but I honestly couldn't care less about it because I was just tired of the throttle delay but I took it for a spin and it was everything they say it is. Some of the reviews are a little exaggerated in my opinion, it's not going to take off and feel like a race car or anything of the sort, but it will improve throttle response by a lot. My only issue is that in the pictures it gives you the list of all compatible vehicles and obviously my vehicle was in it so I thought "Awesome, ordered." But when it came in, on the box, it only had the trim levels for a SR5 and Sport, both V8 so I was a bit bummed but I tried it anyway and it still worked. So overall, fixed my issue but in the future I would change the label so no one thinks they are getting something that's not for their specific vehicle. Awesome product, saves a lot of money 💰👍🏻

Good result for a good price
I just got the product and installed it. It was difficult to install, since the original cable connected to the accelerator on a 2nd generation Tacoma (mine is 2012, automatic) seems more difficult to detach than a 3rd Gen one. Any way, I got it installed and the response is immediate. On the default program P2.6 is very sporty, was too high for my taste. Then I tested P2.4, and for the high way, P2.5 was good enough for me. On the city, a P1.3 is perfect. If you want more precise, slow driving using 4x4, the device should be turned off.In the end, indeed there is no more horsepower, yet the driving experience was enhanced, for my taste. And indeed, much cheaper than other devices with the same operaron.Update, December 2022. The device, even when turned off, still provides a small yet noticeable and well felt effect of responsiveness in the accelerator. Yet it has a cost, of an increased gas consumption. When I was getting around 7.5 kms /lt, now I'm getting 6.5. Almost like a V8? I didn't like it much, thats why now instead of 5, just 3 starsUpdate, February 2023Regarding my December 2022 update, I can tell that the Tacoma ECU seems to need an adaptation time, to get to an optimum gas consumption with this gadget. Nowadays, the gas consumption has been regularized, getting good and normal mpg numbers. So, good results so far. I'm updating from 3 to 5 stars

Better throttle response proved
My truck came lacking the pepping you need when passing other vehicles and or when needing sharp acceleration to avoid a problem or object on the road. Most well known throttle controller brands cost $300, and you probable know already if you're reading this review. A tune to make the computer give your vehicle a better acceleration response costs between $400 - $800 if you find someone nearby to do it. So I went with this option. If I didn't like it, I could just return it, so wth. I installed this thing in two minutes on December 2022, and it brought my truck to a 1:1 throttle response on just P 1-8. You have P2 and P3 for suicidals, basically. It does work, it does what the $300 brands do, and not I just need to see how long it stays operating sharply. Go for it. Buy it and see if you also like how it brings your vehicle back to life.

Great, especially for the price!
For $50 or so, this does what the $300 brands do.I set it on EC-9, which is the econo modes highest setting and my gas mileage has gone up to 23-24mpg on the highway, I use to only get 18-19mpg on the highway and the Tacoma and it was a dog when it came to acceleration, now it gets up and moves when I need it to. It has a Sport mode, but that just causes my transmission to down shift excessively, which doesn’t help my mpg. I don’t use the sport mode. The racing mode is just too sensitive on the gas pedal so I never use it. If you’re going to buy one don’t buy the expensive brands, which I won’t mention by name.

So far so good.(update)
Easy to install. Items accounted for. It's been installed for 2 weeks no issues. 2018 Tacoma TRDSport. Can't imagine the $300 Pedal Commander does anything different/better. Would recommend.(NOT! Worked absolutely brilliantly from Dec-April. I loved this thing. Took a crap on me in Atlanta on a work trip of course. Doing 80mph in the second left lane out of 5. Cluster lit up like a Xmas tree. No throttle whatsoever when it did this. When it dumps, there's no voltage reading to the ecm. So hopefully you can get to the shoulder. Once you unplug it and put your Tacoma back to stock you have to "start/stop/wait" your truck about 3-4 times and the lights will go away. Then you can drive as should. All these are are voltage enhancers. Why these crap out after 1-6 months according to people in the forums is a mystery. But once it dumps some customers have had Toyota tell them they need a new $800 gas pedal from fried guts. Plus the tow bill. I hate to go back to having slow throttle response. But I'm not spending $50 ever few months to get another one. God forbid it fry's the ecm.)
