The media could not be loaded. I purchased this unit to use as a pool heater. This unit is so nice and economical, that the plumbing parts will literally cost you more than the heater. You do have to convert from BSPT (British Standard Pipe Tread) to NPT in the US. You do need a lower pressure regulator for the propane tank. I have a cycle timer that kicks on for 15 minutes and off for 3 minutes to get around the 20 minute timer build into the tankless propane heater. So far I'm very pleased with my setup. I've already bought a spare heater since it's so inexpensive compared to a pool heater. This heater will work nice with standard home water pressure. If you do use a pump, you have to ensure it has enough power to flow the water to trigger the ignition. At first I tried to use a cheap 300 gpm pool pump, but it couldn't produce the water flow to trigger the heater. A regular 300 gpm transfer pump does work as I did try one from Harbor Freight. I am using a cheap 1000 gpm pool pump since I wanted the filter to be built into the system. So make sure you have enough water flow to trigger the heater. Very happy with my purchase.

Set up was a little dodgy because of the fittings required. Luckily I read the reviews first and found out what fittings to purchase from the get go. Now that we have it set up I can’t say enough good about it! The only thing I would say is make sure you have faucets with a hot knob and cold knob so that you have enough hot water flow to keep it running. I have problems with my kitchen sink because it is a single knob so it restricts the hot instead of just adding cold to cool it. Easy fix and an issue that you will find with almost all tankless heaters that are activated by flow. Over all I am very happy with it!

I purchased this because most people seem to have good luck with them. Unfortunately the water heater I received was defective and would not turn on no matter what we tried.. The installer did a lot of troubleshooting to ensure it was installed correctly, we had adequate water pressure and plenty of gas pressure. We checked everything several times. We even replaced the new batteries with other new batteries. Water would flow through it, but it would never turn on. There was no clicking inside the unit the LED screen never lit up and the indicator light on the bottom and never illuminated. I spent way more money on the installation and the installers time troubleshooting than the unit itself cost me.Now I'm carrying on a rather frustrating email conversation with the seller. They are basically telling me to do everything that I've already done to try and get the water heater to work. Oh and they want me to take a video of the thing not working and email it to them!I've already had thing uninstalled and repackaged in the shipping box it came in to send it back to the seller!!I will continue to try to get a refund but it seems like it's going to be a very drawn out process. I'm hoping that will end up being resolved and I can recoup some of the cost of this bad decision!

Using this heater to provide hot water to a remote utility room. Took a while to get the right fittings for all aso the threads werent npt. However, once hooked up, it works very well. Triggered by flow of water, the battery ignition lights the prooane burner and the water is heated to scalding hot or just warm based on adjustment. Adjustments are easy but manual, so you tweak the dials until the desired temperature(Celsius) appears steady in the digital readout. Therefore it comes on just when needed. The exhaust is hot so proper ventilation and separation from flammable objects is advisable. I am thrilled with the performance especially at the very reasonable cost. I don't know about long term usage, as it has only been in service a month and called to supply hot water a few times.

OUR HOUSE IS OLDER AND MY WIFES FATHER NEVER INSTALLED HOT WATER TO THE LAUNDRY ROOM. I HAD BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SO I DID NOT HAVE TO RUN ELECTRICAL AND HAD GAS PIPES RAN FOR INSERTS IN THE FIRE PLACE AND FOR A GAS DRYER, I HAD BEEN LOOKING FORA COUPLE YEARS AND RAN ACROSS THIS, I INSTALLED IT HOOKED TO OUR PROPANE LINE AND HARD PIPED IT TO THE WASHING MACHINE AND "SWEET" HOT WATER TO WASH CLOTHES, THIS IS THE BEST YOU CAN GET AS THE IGNITOR IS SWITCHED TO THE WATER FLOW AND IGNITES OFF 2 D CELL BATTERIES. I ACTUALLY SPENT MORE FOR PARTS TO INSTALL IT THAN FOR THE HEATER ITSELF. IF YOU NEED REMOTE HOT WATER THIS IS IT.

This water heater looks sharp, works great and it's easy to set up. I had to make a trip to home depot to buy some 1/2in cpvc to 1/2in FIP adaptors to hook into my plumbing but aside from that it came with everything that is needed for installation. I would have given a 5 star but this water heater has some sharp edges that I cut myself during unpacking. And the cheap shower head that comes with it was cracked when I unboxed it, I'm not using that plastic thing anyways so that's not a big deal.

I bought one and love it. So I talked my neighbor into getting one. Sadly it showed up damaged but the company was very quick to ask for pictures of the damage so they could help resolve the problem. I may have to ship it back to get a replacement but that is not a great issue as the price is really fair. In hard water areas be sure to run vinegar through it each year to dissolve the deposits. Quite easy to do with a small fountain pump and the fittings that comes with it. Will keep selling these to neighbors. At over 3 gallons per minute with no limit to gallons per hour this is a great tankless heater. It can be used for filling a jacuzzi if needed. Worth that price alone. Can be used for heating a hot tub by adding a pump. I used very little propane in a year. Less than what I used per month paying to keep water hot in a conventional heater. BUY THIS
