A nice looking assembly. Solid enough for a light fixture. Assembly and instructions were straight forward, except you have to figure out the various screw-in inserts depending on which length rod you use and which end is which. Just a boit of trial and error and logic to figure that part out, but other than that, no issues. Experienced no problems as reported by others, all parts aligned fine, screws were good, mounting plate fit fine, there is a "this side up" sticker etc.I will say I was a bit let down by the rather thin wood material, the picture online gave it a very solid thick impression to me, but it was much thinner material and not as "solid" , but as I mentioned, fine for what it is. And for that reason, I deduced in my opinion, that the value for the money wasn't that great. But its up, looks fine, and wont be returning for just that alone.

There are only a couple of reasons this is not a 5-star review: initial shipment did not contain any of the rods required to hang the fixture, but the company did send the missing pieces once I reached out. Unfortunately, when the pieces arrived, I discovered that two lowermost pieces of the suspension rods were not the same length- off by about 1/8 inch - enough to make it hang visibly crooked when connected as intended. I was able to make an adjustment to make it work, and the light looks great in my room, but took a bit longer to install because of dealing with the adjustment. I love how it looks, and it is getting lots of compliments.

We are extremely happy with this fixture. It works perfectly on our sloped ceiling too and emits enough light for our smaller kitchen without feeling blinded or like we are struggling to see. I have some handy/mechanical skills, but this did not require any high level of sophistication to figure it out. I think some of the older reviews about how challenging this was to assemble likely resulted in the company predominantly assembling the entire unit upon delivery so assembly is quite minimal. Make sure u have the box faced in the up position and it all logically follows from there. Beyond happy with this unit. It was moderately priced and good quality without being too heavy and necessitating a hard core, heavy duty mounting system.

I intentionally waited a while to write this review for two main reasons: One - I was unsure if my wife would grow to love this fixture. Two - I was pretty certain that a combination of two toddlers plus a rambunctious seven-year-old would not this knock this from the ceiling, breaking it and rendering it worthless. I'm happy to report two months after purchasing this light fixture it's still operational, and still hanging where I installed it a day after Christmas. When equipped with wide base LED caldera bulbs the light fixture gives off more than enough light for our open floor plan split level. As an added bonus the LED's dim (with the proper Lutron dimmer) providing a nice, warm, soft glow. The price is a tad high, but the satisfaction level matches - so this one is a winner in my book.

Finally had an electrician install this light for us. We put it over our island. I absolutely love it. It puts off more lighting than the single canned light we had before though it casts lots of shadows but I will get used to that. I am using bright white bulbs and not the warm vintage style even though those look prettier IMO. I just like a lot of light especially in the kitchen. Now I want a similar one, just not exactly to put over my kitchen table! If you are going for a rustic look, this is it. BTW, if you have vaulted ceilings, it comes with joints that allow it to hang straight down.

Honest review from someone who wouldnt normally take the time to write a review, but if I can save someone their money, then I will... I have been wanting this fixture for months. Literally months. Finally pulled the trigger and what a let down 😳😓 this item may look nice as advertised but the company made it so cheap that the poles came stripped and while it’s was easy to wire and Hang (in theory) HA! 😒it hangs un even and the whole thing hangs at a tilt, F$&@!!! if it wasn’t such a pain to return.. we would definitely return it and will learn a huge lesson from this purchase and not just order any thing off amazon any more. Even if we buy a piece of junk @ Home Depot atleast returning it wouldn’t be a hassle! I’m sad this was not as nice as we hoped but will use it for as long as I can stand to look at it and replace it down the road or try to replace the poles somehow sooner... Who knows but at 200.00 + we feel ripped off over all. Save your money!

I love, love, love this light! Everytime I look at it I love it more. My husband has nightmares when he looks at it bc it was so horrible to hang. He says it was the worst design he's ever seen and he is very, VERY handy so beware. The screws were definitely too short and we are still a little worried if our boys hit it with a ball it will come down.

This is a very nice light for the money. I do wish the wood was a it thicker but we get compliments all the time. They also need to fix the packing. As mentioned in other comment sections, the packing sticks to the bottom and leaves a little blemish on the bottom. In the end worth the money. Do not pay attention to those who say its difficult to assemble and hang. It really is not difficult.
