Beautiful photographs, interesting homes
A gorgeous book, giving insights into the London homes of designers and design-savvy homeowners. Plenty of inspiration and ideas. Beautifully photographed by Anna Stathaki. I always love her magazine stories, so this book was a real bonus.

Stylish, Interesting and Strong Photos
There's a lot to like about this book. It has great photos and the summaries of each house not only talk about the inspiration and design process, but also about specific architects and designers that worked their magic. It also lists some of the key pieces of furniture or objects that make the room special. This makes the book very accessible and if you wanted to recreate some of the ideas, gives you a good starting place to start building your space. I would have liked a little more text, and possibly a little more variation in the houses if I'm being picky. Obviously you are limited by the fact that this is specifically about London houses, but after a bit, some of the interiors, no matter what era house they came from, started to look quite samey. The book definitely reflects the tastes of our age and we really like a pared back Scandi style. There were some notable and exciting exceptions and I would have liked a few more of these. It is however, a beautiful, well curated and well written book with a lot to recommend it.

Beautiful clear photography and a real insight into contemporary London interiors. I'm sure this will become a go-to reference as well as a coffee table classic.

Beautiful Book, great inspiration
House London is a great quality book. Just bought it for inspiration and it is definitely a go to book for that. Interesting houses and easy to navigate through the chapters. It is a book that celebrates London houses and a bit different from what is already on the market. Great cover too, which is pretty timeless and will match any space, a total classic!

Have a snoop at other people's homes, you know you want to!
The real fun of this book is having a peep into other people's homes to see how they live, and to perhaps take some design inspiration away for our own homes (although maybe on a lesser scale.) I have to be honest though, the text accompanying the pictures didn't really grab my interest and after a few pages I just skipped it to look at the photos! However there are plenty of pictures of beautiful homes and interior design which more than made up for it.
