Meriville Set of 2 Oil-Rubbed Bronze Curtain Drapery Rod Bracket for 1 1/4-Inch Rod, Adjustable

Needed to mount a rod in front of 84" vertical blinds with an outside mounted track. These worked perfectly to extend out past the blinds.

I ordered these brackets and have since installed them. They seem well made and are decent looking. I am giving this product only three stars for the following reasons. 1) the anchors that go in to the wall are crap. They bend and twist and removing them to use different anchors of your own is extremely hard. The collars shred when trying to grasp with a needlenose pliars 2) the price for these are pricey 3) they're expensive and because they are you would think you could purchase them singly. I needed 5 but have an oddball one that will sit in a drawer somewhere. Again the brackets do seem well made but the other factors make me think I would look elsewhere for future need.

I was super disappointed because they were not easy to install for one reason. The screw that's used to allow it to extend out further from the wall will not let you loosen it. It immediately strips. This makes it hard to install a straight screw and anchor into wall with my drill, above my head. the idea and style are great, plain black and simple. I did finally get them up and as straight as I could but it was the biggest pain ever. The only reason I am keeping them is because it took me so long to get up and the holes were already made. I didn't want to wait to get a different set. Otherwise I would have sent them back.

Just what we needed to install our drapes as the blunds we hung at the window project outward with some bulk when pulled up so the drapes would bump out at that point if we did not get these brackets to make the drapes hang away from the blind.

I have a tension rod that's 10 feet long, and it's 1.25" around. I've measured, and it's accurate. I got these, and they stated they fit up to 1.25" curtain rods... my rod was WAY too big to fit. Luckily I was able to use some tools to pull it and open it more, so now it fits and does the job, but it's unfortunate that the measurement was way off. I didn't feel like going through the process of returning the item, so I just stretched it out.

I’ll begin with the cons. Not easily to install thanks to the hardware they provide. The drywall anchors are totally worthless. They fall through the walls as soon as you try to screw in. Luckily I had my own that worked so much better.Now for the pros, I like the slide outs, you can choose to have the curtains close to the wall or out more. I liked the two screw holes for extra support. They look great and they are wide enough for my wide curtain rod.Overall the kit is fine but because of the faulty drywall anchors this product gets 3 stars from me.

Good Bracket for 2” and above rods. If it’s smaller the set screws don’t hold well. Easy install though.

When we ordered this we only needed one of them. I’m glad we weren’t needing both of them because they are 2 different sizes. I’m not returning them and reordering because we are ready to put our curtains back up and need the extra support now. If you’re buying a set of 2 they should match. Maybe if we purchase a smaller rod down the road we can use the other one.

It’s good and exactly what I needed but the price (... relative to the value of the materials and the technology required to make it), feels like a rip-off.
