Quickly became my favorite sailing shirt
I am super happy with this shirt. I sail, and wanted something a bit better than the old t-shirts I had been wearing. Sailing is physical work, and often hot wet work so synthetics were a hard requirement for me. When I saw this shirt I immediately rolled the dice on it, and it's a keeper for shirt.-It fits exactly as expected for 2x.-The material is definitely synthetic and wicks, breathes and dries very quickly-The color blocks are perfect. The maroon bottom is a fantastic homage to my home port's flag, without being an exact duplicate of it. I didn't want to wear a flag, I wanted to wear a flag inspired theme (Ala Tommy H).-I find that the collar adds comfort when wearing a PFD or harness, and gives me something to clip my hat on to.It can go for days soa-king up and dispelling sweat without becoming super nasty like some other synthetics.-Best of all - it's NOT SHINY and doesn't feel like plastic. The hand is actually very similar to cotton and you can feel the weave in it.Perfect shirt, love it, would love to see more red, white and blue options from this manufacturer. I may still not be the sharpest looking guy on the docks, but I definitely have the sharpest shirt !

Seemed to run about a size to a size and a half smaller
It definitely seems about a size small, if not maybe a size and a half small. Fits like a medium, I don't remember if I ordered an xl or a large but in either case it was definitely fitting like a medium, I gave it to my son who wears a men's medium and it fit him great. So not for me but worked out for him I guess.

Their Feel…
Upon arrival these shirts did not feel like I expected them. I nearly returned them , but I needed new shirts , these fit , so I decided to keep them. BUT after they were washed the texture of the shirt changed and I am very pleased
