Super easy to use and attach to SUV
We own a Chevy Trax which is an SUV and we pack two kayaks to various places. We went on our longest driving trip to date, five hours one way, with at least 3 hours on 70mph roadways. We don't typically use stern and bow straps since we often go locally to places and don't have a need for them, however they are shaky and I didn't want to risk not having them on going at those speeds. We found these online and we are going to use them every time we load up now. They have handled the entire trip beautifully and have really increased the stability of our kayaks on top of the vehicle, we drove 70mph for over 5 hours in total and didn't see any issues at all. What I like most is the ease of use of these, you just hook both ends and pull it through the pulley and it auto locks the rope for you. I much prefer these tension style systems over rachet systems because with kayaks you can easily bend and dent a kayak with them.We use a similar tension style system for securing the kayak to our rack as well so these are great additions. They also come with extra rope which we ended up taking on our kayak trip and was super nice to have for various camping activities.

They work ok
I use them to hold the cover on my 18 ft boat. They work great for that

Works nice
Using these to hang my 60lb kayaks from the ceiling. They hold nicely, but I need to use a screwdriver to pop the release on these ratchets to get them down. They still work great, just not very convenient.
